God obviously discriminates poor people, or they wouldn't be poor.

My Dear Sumo,
The quicker you learn that money or success in this country is a dirty word the better. We alway's seem to decry success rather than praise it ,as much as I dislike Yanks their
American Dream theory is great. They are not jealous of the man next door's success, if he drives a 90' car then next door gets a job that can afford him to by a 95' car nothing wrong with a bit of get up and go .Instead of sitting at home making babies eating yourself to death and blaming everybody for your inability to make a success of your own life.Just remember that being totally IDLE the government immaterial of which party owes you a living for just sitting there and doing F*** ALL apart from eating drinking and smoking and have you seen what little Tw*** they are rearing exactly replicas of themselves U****** B******S. Wake up GT Britain these wasters are here and now.If I won the lottery Saturday I would still be putting my money on the week after for more, nothing wrong with money or success in my book and do you know why because it does'nt frighten me.

There is that element of society that takes advantage of the system and they come from all the social classes, the poor people that do just happen to not be that good at it. Others are sue happy, sell 100 hammers to the military, find suckers to take care of them....many others; not always poor.
Some of the people that that use the government programs, end up repaying the system many times over. In future taxes.

You don't know everyone background and what contributed to them being poor and homeless. Quite often things beyond someones personal control can happen, particularly in childhood, that can permanently affect their ability to earn enough, even as adults, and it becomes a vicious cycle. Alcoholism, abuse are just 2 examples.
Reality is that folks who are better off can afford better educations and thus rely on a dependable income easier than those less fortunate, without that same background. Interestingly income status in a family, usually follows generation to generation.
The government is partially to blame, for making education so costly, so my answer is NO, I don't mind helping folks who use the system temporarily, to get on their feet , at all, and I understand each case is different.

the subject is that banks DO own loan destructive human beings funds, then they gamble on the percentages that those destructive human beings in simple terms isn't waiting to pay returned those loans. Then they take out coverage on the swapped debt. Which motives a significant malfunction that curiously isn't a topic till each and all of the destructive fairness it fairly is leaking into the financial equipment starts to realize the shareholders of assorted those financial intuitions (nicely all yet some that have been given out and straightened their books earlier disaster mode). So i do no longer think of subprime lending is a sturdy thought, till you permit the default technique run that's direction with out attempting to make funds on the section.

Hmm, now that is an interesting one. I don't think we should take benefits etc away from people who genuinely can't work (what if you are seriously injured one day and can't work?) but i do think there should be no dole (or more strictly policed payments- ie they have to bring in at least one letter of rejection a week to get their payments or employers should fill in a questionnaire about the interview to ensure they don't throw it). I do think a lot of people take advantage of this country; i've never claimed a benefit in my life and have managed to survive and resent that i have to pay so much tax so that others can live rent and work free - i don't like getting up at 6am but i do it. They should too

many poor are doing everything to get a job and live happily, except that the employers are discriminating against them already. Many employers are the ones to blame for not training the unemployed to get employed. Although there are some poor who are happy to be recieving cash from rich people. Those people are to be discriminated against, since they don't want to work.

Jimmy Carter does a great thing with Habitat for Humanity. It's a private charity. The government doesn't do much for the homeless, at least not since the 80's. Anybody could fall on hard times and end up homeless, even hard working people.

"He who mocks the poor blashemes his Maker; he wo is glad at calamity will not go unpunished"
I can't believe you're picking on the poor ppl who are suffering from Katrina ... really, this is adding fire the to desparity that's already consuming these ppl ... what's needed is hope.
I firmly don't believe in the "Government" solving this; as I don't worship the government, or have much faith in it ... but "We the People" who can create opportunites for employment, re-location, and fellowship. This is where the hope will bring salvation.

No you should not discriminate against anyone. Poor people are already discriminated enough in this country, why would you want to add to it? Best watch what you seek because you could become homeless and poor one day.

You shouldn't discriminate against anyone total! If there is not a good reason for them being unemployed like false disability and living in council houses, they should be made to work and pay there rent. You can't class everyone living in council house taking your tax paying money, as my parents live in council house my father served 15 years for British army and then crippled himself working on farm to feed his children whilst fighting cancer twice, so he ernt his council house!
