no, first you have to understand what the Beast is, read Dan ch 8, which tells you that the beasts are political inities, then rev 13 shows that Satan Gives the beast its power, so its not Satan,

MARK OF THE BEAST/IMAGE OF THE BEAST

Mark of the Beast is a (Rev.17:13)Form of Government(Roman Empire is always stamped with the number 666 in Greek and Hebrew; the two languages from the Bible); it has an ecclesiastical and a civil government(Rev.13:11).The pope is both a religious leader as a civil head of state.The Mark of the Beast will probably be forced by Sunday Law as it was back then. It will be when the the Pope uses the power of the state (beast) to force his will to the world; to worship this system. It is a brand of disobedience; it's not a physical mark(compare Rev.14:10 with Col.3:6); just like the Seal of God in Deut.6:8{knowing, doing and keeping the Sabbath holy}and Rev.7:2-3 is not a literal mark. {"The hand is a symbolic of actions, while the forehead is the seat of intellect. Obedience to God involves both actions (hand) and will(forehead)".}
