I'm a girl, 5'0", 111 lbs. 118 at the highest and 108 at the lowest.
I really need help now. I'm not going to say how much exactly but on weekdays I'm eating less than 1000 cals, usually less than 800. On Saturdays, 1000 and on Sundays 2000. I know, that eating less than 1200 is unhealthy so I'm trying to stop.
My question is-
How do I up my calories, without gaining weight and get my metabolism back to normal? This has only been going on for a few months. The thing is, I still want to lose weight but I'm afraid if I start eating normally that I will gain weight.
How can I up my calories, to a normal safe level to lose weight?

I like to eat healthy, I don't eat fast food EVER. So please don't tell me to "go to BK and get a double whopper"
I'd rather not get heart disease... lol

I'm 15 and I will not talk to a doctor or my mom or anyone about this. My mom hates girls like me, girls who lie about food... I want to get over it without her ever knowing what was wrong with me.

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose. (start upping about 50cal/week till you get to that number)
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

First off, it's great that you recognize you need to eat more. Kudos for that. Up your calories with healthy foods like apples, carrots, spinach, etc. Anything natural is a great idea. Stick to whole wheat products like wheat bread, noodles, and baked goods.

The only way you will lose weight and keep it off is if you maintain a healthy diet (one that follow the food pyramid guidelines) and exercise daily. Don't overdo it, an hour a day is plenty. Perhaps take up a sport at school or go jogging with a friend in the afternoon. A healthy lifestyle will benefit you later on in life, start these habits early.

You are not overweight, you are fine. Don't worry so much about restriction; eat healthy foods when you are hungry and stop when you're full.

Sounds as though there are a lot of issues. As to wanting to consume more calories without gaining weight, the simple rule is the more you exercise, the more calories you will burn. Muscles burn more calories than fat tissue, so you could add some muscle (without looking like Mr. Atlas :) ), tone your muscles, and maintain your weight and consume more calories.
This is easier to do if you have a good relationship with your Mom and others in your life.
You mention metabolism. Question: do you have a metabolism problem? I have hypothyroidism; some people have hyperthyroidism. Check www.mypyramid.com and www.webmd.com to check for these things.
Your decision to not eat fast food is very commendable. Too bad more people don't make that decision. (I will admit that, on occassion, I eat at McD, as when I am on a trip, but not more than once a day at that.)
Otherwise, maintain a healthy, fit lifestyle with plenty of excerside (don't overdo it), eating a variety of foods, fruits, veggies, etc. Sounds like you know a lot about it; just don't get anxious about it.
Good luck.

Ok, what you need to do is do it slowly. But, as you increase your caloric intake you will also need to increase your activity level, to make sure you do not gain weight from it. Start of slow, as to not shock your body. Add 100 calories in food, &, then burn at least half of it with additional exercise. Also, make sure you space out your meals so that you eat several small meals a day instead of 3 big one's. Ultimately, you want to aim at eating every 3 hours or so (obviously just during the day). When you eat often, you keep your metabolism high b/c it never has a chance to slow down (it will always have to be working to burn the food you eat). There are several foods you can eat that are not fats foods. One of your "meals" can be a handful of almonds & a banana. Another can be a protein shake (protien helps to build muscle & muscle will help you burn more calories).

You didn't specify what your exercise routine is like, but, try to go for a run each day to not only help burn off the calories you eat, but, to also keep that metabolism going.

You're actually a normal weight for your age according to cordianet.com ideal weight calculator. Putting in your information yields the following results:

# Estimated Base BMR: 1337 Calories.
# Estimated TDEE: 1605 Calories.
# Estimated Daily Caloric Need For Weight Loss: 1105 Calories.

So, you're way under where you should be, but you know that. You're at a normal weight for your age/height so I'd guess that your body looks great. If you are going to start eating a healthy amount of food again you'll need to step back for a minute and realize you're pretty fit. Don't freak out if the scale goes up a little.

I'm guessing that you've hit a plateau in your weight loss. You're probably still concerned that you've more weight to lose, but you're starting to realize that you can't starve yourself much more without eating at all but you still don't look the way you want.

My suggestion is that you start eating at what should be your maintenance level and lift weights regularly to build some muscle. As you're a young women you won't put on much muscle but it will probably look great on your figure and will raise your metabolism.

Please don't worry if you put on a little weight at first. It's really unavoidable. You've been starving yourself. Plus, as long as you're working out and eating right it's probably muscle. Muscle will give you the look you need, make you feel better, and make it easy to maintain your look (it burns calories).

Slowly add in an extra snack each day, or one more scoop of vegetables with meals.
Sounds like you like to eat healthy foods, if you keep them healthy and just add a little more to your portions, you should be OK.
If this continues, I would try and talk with your Mom, I know she doesn't like girls like this, but since you are her daughter and are admitting to an eating problem she may be accepting and get you help.
If you don't think you can talk to your Mom, do you have a teacher, someone at church, a friend's Mom that you can talk to?
You are at a good weight right now and don't need to lose any. Maintaining where you are would be good.

I took a fitness class during the last semester of college and they said to take your weight and add an extra 0, your case 1110 and that is your minimum caloric intake for basic functions in a normal day (waking, showering, dressing, eating...). As long as you are exercising than you shouldnt gain weight if you are exercising unless its muscle (and that is a good thing... it will add definition!

good luck!

You probably should talk to your mom because if this continues then it could lead to something really serious like an eating disorder. My sister had a eating disorder and it made my whole life fall apart so just think about your family and who it's going to affect if it doesn't get better and you don't get help.

Quit worrying about how you appear to the "group" or your buds. Eat normal, enjoy life & don't worry about impressing others with the "I got a hot body wanna worship it routine".
