why dont you do push ups and other chest exercises first to stregthen your pectoral muscles. That will help lift your breasts naturally. Your still young enough that you may not need a lift!

I have a friend that is 19 and getting a breast reduction very soon. You're not too young. Those things are big, and could very likely cause you back problems in the future. If you are not unwilling to take your bra size down a couple notches, I think the reduction would be a great thing. Plus, you would lose some of that 40 lbs you want just from that!

Funny you ask! My cousin went to one of the top 10 plastic surgeons in the world because she wanted a lift at 17...... His answer: "Reduction with a lift? - no problem... I do that all the time for patients with hypertrophy (extreme size- hope I spelled it right!).
But just a lift at your age? I will NOT do that and I know of NO responsible colleague who will- unless I talk to your parents and they convince me that you are suffering mentally!"
(Now me again!)
About 90% of lifts result in extreme scarring (a "T" incision is made on the bottom of both breasts (so you can still wear the bathing suit without anyone noticing!), and if there is allot of excess skin- the nipple(s) are many times removed and relocated (many patients complain of some/allot loss of sensitivity). In short- wait and see for a few years (while you are losing that weight), THEN decide if that is what you REALLY want to do! Good luck! ;-)

You may or may not lose in the boobs by working out. I tried that and it didn't work, and a breast reduction was for me.
You are not too young, though they may wait for you to make sure you are done growing. They will do it now if you are in serious back pain though.
This site helped me out a TON:

Honey, the FIRST place that you lose weight is from your boobs!!! Lose the weight and you will see a SIGNIFICANT change in your boobs. Mine were saggy when I was overweight too, but when you lose 40lbs you will probably go down to a D or even a C and they will be much more perky. You're not old enough for them to have lost their elasticity.
Also, do not go for the surgery just yet. If you are 40lbs overweight, of course your boobs are DD!!!! I had a friend who had a breast reduction at 18 but she wore a DD and was hella skinny, a size 9 to be exact!!! If you are proportioned right, you don't need the operation. You simply need a good diet and exercise!!

I've dated a few girls that have had the breast reduction surgery. The scars produced by the reduction or lift were larger and more noticeable than scars produced by breast implants. One of the girls had a scar from her areola to her chest essentially half of her breast was scared (but she was happy). You're definitely not to young for the surgery. What ever makes you happy.
