I can't seem to find anything that says "powdered milk" on it. Is it just malted milk?

Powdered milk is a product that you can add water to create milk. It doesn't taste as good as the liquid form, but it is cheaper....it was used a lot during the depression years because it is fairly inexpensive.

Carnation and I think Nestle make powdered milk.

It is found in the section where you buy evaporated milk, condensed milk, soy milk (not in the cold section).

Powdered milk is a powder made from dried milk solids. Powdered milk has a far longer shelf life than liquid milk and does not need to be refrigerated due to its low moisture content.

Powdered milk is dehydrated milk, and looks like a white powder. Is not malted milk.

Powdered milk is just that. If you are in the U. S. Look for Carnation instant milk on the baking aisle of your grocery store.

Powdered milk is in a package that can be found in almost any food store, and it says "Powdered Milk" on it. I would not drink it, I would only use it for cooking purposes!

No, it's powdered milk. It's made from dried milk solids. You'd probably find it on the aisle with baking supplies.

There is such a thing as powdered milk. I've used it. Nestle has under Carnation or Nido (name of the brands). There are more, but I can't recall from the top of my head.
Hope this helps!
