I think it is a personal choice... if you have a high sex drive, then I would atleast wait till the 3rd date or so. If you really like him let him know, but if you fool around earlier than you are ready, he may only come back for that and it sucks to be let down or have regrets. Do whatever you are comfortable with.

most people say 6 months in high school, but i only waited 1 month and a half.. just when you think your ready is when you should do it

its just when you two feel that you are ready. there is no like average time period. some people progress faster then others. it also depends on how often you guys hang out and how close you are

that varys and could happen at anytime, just talk aobut it before hand and have all your bases covered just incase somethng happens, that way you know what you have to do just incase.
