Well I will tell you what everyone else will tell you... that isn't the right thing to do. I like many others suffer from depression. I can't tell you that you can make it stop, but you can lean to manage it. It is very hard especially if you have no support from somebody, family or friends. I like to think that keeping myself busy helps me. It is when I start having to much down time on my hands my mind begins to wander. You can always try meds, I would first recommend a combination of vitamins and exercise. I know that sounds cheesy but it HELPS, not cures, but helps. You know what else sounds cheesy, when I start getting upset my dog will come over and sit with me, almost like she knows. That is when I start to think about how she needs me then my mind sort of wanders in the other direction, like what would happen if I weren't here to take care of this and that and then who do the things that I do and then convince myself that I do make a difference. You can email me if you want... I have battled depression now for as long as I can remember, but I do know that I don't want to die.

You made me feel sad, hearing from a teen saying that he is depressed and that life makes no sense and you feel like......
To feel depressed you must surely have some problem on your mind. You should be enjoying the wonderful gift of life in your age, the best age in Man's life. So, my friend, stop a bit
and think for some moments to see whatever is on your mind.
If you by yourself think that you are unable to do any progress you can call organisations which surely have professional people who can help you come to your senses.
I don't know what is your religion and what are your beleifs.
No matter what it is if you practice your religion, it should kindle in your heart peace and hope even if you are passing through some bad time. That is the test of a man when he is faced with the world, the material world can offer.
I am a Catholic and at this time I am praying for you. If you are also a Catholic, go and speak with a priest and empty all the sadness that is in yourself and he will put back hope in Jesus Christ. If you are not Catholic you still can find someone. Never put all the blame onto you for it will surely add more weight to your depression. Don't think of drinking or other worse methods, no, no, no. Have faith in Him who gave you life. He knows what is in you, knows you from inside.
So, the first step is not to be alone and thinking of the same thing, do something to share what is troubling you, Do not look at others and thing that you are not like them, live your life to its limits, and be glad with what you have. Look for peace within yourself. Search for help.
May God bless you and puts you in the right track again.

I'm glad you posted instead of just feeling bad all alone. I have felt as you have many times. Please remember that you are unique and that life is supposed to change over and over and over again. You will not always feel this way. Your situations and relationships will change and even you will change as time goes on. There's so much up ahead in your future, but you have to have faith in its coming and wait sad times out. Choose something you can change in the next few hours. You can send an anonymous letter to someone who should be thanxed. You can go sit with an older neighbor, or you can play with a pet or sleep for a few hours. Change something so you can change the way you feel one day at a time. I hope this has helped in some small way. I care about you.

Dude don't worry. When I was little I felt like that to and almost did commit suicide. And let me tell you ...... when I woke up I knew how much of a big mistake I made. You should just calm down and think this through. Right now I know there much worse things that can happen anybody in this worl d right now. Including you. So you should just calm down and relax and get profesional help right away.
P.S things will get better. Trust me.

You might only be feeling normal with the stress of life today. you are not alone in this . Get help so you may enjoy the life around you. It is never as bad as things seem. You need an outlet for your feelings. call a Friend or who ever you feel most comfortable with and ask them to help you.

Go to your parents, talk to them, they can get you help to get through this. It's not easy feeling depressed, and i know at times suicide seems like a quick easy fix. It's not. Depression is temporary, death is not. Depression can be successfully treated, death can not. Counseling is a great option to help you find the coping skills you need, and to help you figure out what is going on. Medications are helpful too in some cases.
But give life a chance, get some help. Depression is treatable.
Death is forever.

dont do it. No one's life is useless. You need to go see a doc, and try to get on some med or try and find out whats causing you to be depressed. Everyone gets depressed in there life, you just have to fight it and tell yourself that your better than that and that you want to be happy!!!! Do something fun! If your life makes no sense then do something that makes sense. Go see a funny movie, call some friends, or family. Have fun with life! If you need someone to talk to you can talk to me!

I know exactly what it feels like to think your life is pointless and you just want to kill yourself. all you need to do is talk to a family member or spend some time with one of your friends. you'll realize that every one goes through this phase and life is so much more than a few bad things added up to make it seem like theres nothing else left for you. Think about whats ahead of you. about going to college, getting married and having kids and going on vacations. trust me, every thing will work out. just give it some time.
