I did not have those type of side effects with celexa, I DID however, have shaky side effects with wellbutrin (buproprion). They lasted about 3 months. It was kind of embarressing, but after 3 months they stopped. Hopefully they will stop soon, but if not, call your dr. There are so many different kinds of antidepressents that I'm sure you'll be able to find one that works well for you. Good luck, and hang in there!

I took Celexa for four weeks but had to stop, as it made me so tired. You're experiencing another of the side effects; hopefully it will wear off, but alas only time will tell. If it's a side effect you find bearable, try and give the medicine four weeks, then if you're no better, you must speak to your prescribing doctor.
However, if you really are feeling poorly, or terribly anxious and depressed, then phone your doctor now, and ask his advice.
I asked for the Celexa in drop/liquid form, so I could build up the dose very slowly and avoid most of the side effects; something worth considering.
It might be that you just need a different anti depressant - many of us have to try several. Personally, I found Prozac far better than Celexa, and it also comes in liquid form.
Good luck with it, and do call your doctor if you feel really bad!

If you are having these side effects this is one of the warnings to contact your doctor. You are probably in need of a different medication. I tried 4 before I was OK with the effects of these meds.

Ive taken celexa for a long time and have had no side affects with it. IT has been real good for me. If you continue to have trouble with it, get ahold of your dr.
