Technically chicken is poultry, and fish is fish. They are not meat. Meat is beef, veal, lamb...the consistensy and texture are heavier and thicker than fish and poultry. The only reason they are all called meat is because they are the meat of mammals. Check out meat stores, they're in different categories, and the usually don't sell fish.

yeah, I saw that, too. fish and chicken are meat. I guess the person that posted that thinks only beef is meat. they are mistaken.
