hands down!Frasier, Cheers etc Brilliant. Cartoons-Family Guy, Simpsons-unbeatable. Now why is it that a lot of you do not understand wit and sarcasm? I thought these shows were massive in the US? Can someone explain?
Look at my last question. Some truly GREAT answers!

I thought that what I wrote in brackets was obvious enough but I have just realised that some people REALLY do think like that!!

Sometimes sarcasm just shoots right over people's heads. You have to forgive them, and be a little more obvious with your sarcasm. Sometimes I do a little pause, then state exactly what I mean right after. It helps some people out.

I grew up with Cheers (ouch, Am I so old?). Yes that was quite a show. And so are the others you mention.

You may find this hard to believe, but I met a religious leader that said that The Simpson's was "a devil worshiping cartoon". The same religious leader also said that the TV is the "devil's box".

Ironically, when we were invited to a TV interview about religious beliefs by a major TV Network, he mentioned those comments live, and the religious leader also has a religious program that airs each Sunday in that same network.

They ought to be. We borrowed them from all over the world! Ugly Betty was a hit all over South America. All in the Family was from England. Frazier was a spin off of Cheers.

Our public can identify TV stars much more easily than identify our leaders in politics and business and science. If you can recieve NBC on satellite where you are, check out the Tonight Show with Jay Leno. He does a segment once per week called Jaywalking where he interviews people on the street asking questions every 10 year old would probably know. The answers are incredible! You begin to question how the country still stands.
