My piercer told me a week before I get it changed, but other sources tell me about 4 weeks. Which one?

and i have been using mouthwash and peroxide to keep it clean..is that enough?

you obviously went to a piercer who knows nothing! i suggest not going back to this person for any other piercings in the future.

you should wait AT LEAST 6 to 8 weeks to remove it, but it would be better to leave it in even longer

6-8 weeks definetly...your lip is definetly NOT somewhere you want to get infected...protect yourself and keep it in at least a month and a half or you will be sorry and unable to eat!

You should wait about a month. My boyfriend does piercings and he tells them to wait a month.
