Yes, yes yes! What's not to love? We've had two GSD's both male Jake , who sadly died 18 months ago and Max who is 13 months. He is a wonderful, afectionate, playful and clever dog. Sometime too friendly with other dogs who have more dominant tendancies, but it's quite funny to see a huge dog scarpering froma yappy terrier or even a poodle!!
Wonderful animals, we're planning our third doggy for about a years time, the few months we were without one were awful, we have a cat too but she's no substitute for the unconditional love and friendship of a german shepherd.

Yes, but I adore all dogs. German Shepherds, however have a certain something about them that stands apart...their intelligence, and energy, along with their playful seriousness has always endeared them to their owners. My Shepherd is an amazing girl.

" I stay in a small city and Im fearful that some careless childrens will leap in his backyard" You propose YOUR backyard. have you ever spoke to a canine behaviorist or perhaps canine psychologist. somebody that has experienced in the sphere of canine psychology and can comprehend what your canine is going via?? We additionally offered a rottie from a BYB out of guilt of leaving her there to rot away with something of the muddle. The mom replaced right into a sweetie however the Dad replaced right into a no circulate. the homestead could have been categorized as scum of the earth. It replaced into incredibly horrid residing situations. Our canine began exhibiting aggression around 4 months of age. something that moved she could chew. We tried each and everything. Having a 2 month previous infant in the homestead, we had to re-homestead her with a defense force sergeant who over the previous couple of months says that she's made extremely some progression by utilising 1 of our close by running shoes. i think of your GSD is purely assuming the area of "%. chief". If there is somebody better and greater constructive than him then i think he'd drop the full "i'm aggressive" ordeal. i desire you may restoration the aggression/insecurities! GSD's are such attractive breeds.

I´m afraid of them. Give me a rottweiler anytime. I always think the geman shepherds are sly, the way they stalk around with their tails down. We have a horrid one that walks in the park and the owner never takes his dog on the lead. But, the dog has twice attacked our dog, a carpathian shepherd dog.

They are beautiful dogs. One of my freind's mother in law had one, his name was Sam. Sam took to most women, but was wary of men. My bf and I went with my friend and her husband over to the mothe in laws house. My bf and I had been fighting alot that day. He went out in the yard with my friends husband, and we locked the storm door behind them because Sam could open it. So when he came back he had to knock on the door. Tammy, my friend, went to let him in, and as I was nuzzleing Sam, I whispered to him, "Sick him Sam." And he did! LoL! Sam was a good dog though, he did not bite, but he would jump up and knock down, and growl and threaten if the "bad guy" didn't stay still. He was trained to do that. I thought it was very funny even though I didn't know he would do that. Sam stood between me and the bf even after I convinced him that the bf could stay in the house.
