I have a chocolate bar in my bag. I could eat it or throw it away or go to the gym? Or I could go home and relax, and enjoy having today finished 5 years of stuying at uni.

If you workout on a regular basis then you can reward yourself with a chocolate and relax.

You don't ALWAYS have to make the "healthy" decisions but don't get carried away. One chocolate bar and a night of kicking back won't be the end of the world.

But if you can't even remember the last time you had a good workout then you should drop the fatty candy bar and do good for yourself. It'll pay up in the end ;)

Why not go to the gym? It might help you relax, if your gym has a sauna or hot tub, steam room even. Hop in at the end of your workout and wind down. It's a way of life fitness I mean so do it right after work and enjoy the rest of your evening as you prepare for the weekend.

Work out today and then eat the chocolate bar tomorrow. Friday is a good day to take it easy.

I'm stuck making decisions like this all the time. I allow myself to enjoy something not-so-healthy a few times a week, as long as I do 15 minutes extra on the treadmill or elliptical machine during the week. :) Don't worry about burning off the extra calories tonight. In fact, it's better for your body to have some low-calorie days and some higher-calorie days than all low-calorie days. It helps keep your metabolism up!!
