Has it ever been a Religion?

If so which one?

When I did a search most of the most Notorius Evil Men in History none were of practicing Judeo/Christian faiths.

Do you think evilness comes from traits of wanting::

Power:
Sexual deviancy
Greed

And since man has never been able to conqueor and rid those evil qualities in man without killing them or locking them up for all time, when if ever do you think those traits can be wiped out of a human being?

No offense my dear, but what history books are you reading. SO many people have killed in the name of thier God, Christians included. The Cruisades, the Spanish Inquisition, the Witch Burnings. Lets not get started on King Henry VIII and I think Richard had no problem killing the Infidels either. The Native American as well as African Americans were forces into slavery because it didn't matter, they "had no souls". Popes over the centries have ordered death upon countless nonbelievers.
Now that being said, people aren't evil. They are warped, angry, delusional, but nothing and no one is pure evil. No they can't be wiped out of human beings. Sure antisocial disorder is genetic, but abuse will always be around and they will always shape some pretty warped people.

Didn't search very hard now did you? Does the name Adolph Hitler ring any bells? What about Jeffery Dahlmer?

All three, and it doesn't mater weather you are believer or non believer. I don't think at this time the traits can be wiped out. Some people were abused while being raised. Some are truly psychotic and some, just wanted to get kicks. As to none were practicing Judea/Christian faiths. I bet if asked a lot would say they believed in god.

Then you didn't look hard enough.

Adolf Hitler was a semi-practicing Catholic.
Pope "Innocent" (an inappropriate name) wrote a book that led directly to the slaughter of unknown hundreds of people across Europe for being witches.
Need you be reminded that the most notorious members of the IRA and their opposition were all Christians of Protestant or Catholic ideoligy?

And bad news: Desire for power, sex, and money (heck, desire period) cannot be "wiped out" of a human being. The human in question has to make a deliberate effort to rid themselves of desires like that.

It's called Buddhism.

Society makes a person do evil. For every bad deed, we are to blame, if only a littl bit.

Evil deeds are in the end, all caused by bad education, bad up-bringing, pressure from society, lack of help during troubled times, etc, etc.

No baby has ever been born as a monster.

I suppose you forgot the inquisition, witch trials, the entire middle ages.. Even in the Bible Jewish people were instructed to murder just about everyone that did not believe in God, rebelled against their parents etc.. Religion does make people evil.

I think all that is the start of evil.
But PURE evil I believe to be unfathomable to any human comprehention.

Even Hitler, loved his mother. HEr death is what lead to his hatred. But you cannot feel that kind of hatred unless you once loved.

And Pure evil NEVER loves

I think it's the misuse of the apostrophe. Such grammatical negligence leads inevitably to depravity.

Killing when its offensive. It does not make you evil if your defending yourself.
