It's rather hard, but I think, I have finally adapted to using the restroom while others are in there, I still won't refresh my make up, or do my hair though, (it's weird, I know)
Wanna know something embarrassing?
I almost feel like I can't use the restroom while ANYONE is in the BR anymore.....Yesterday I was on my prd. and i had no protection, so I used toilet paper, and I went to use the restroom at school again, and the top sorta...fell on the ground, in the stall...but there were people waiting in lines...no one saw, i hope..
I usually wait until someone else flushes, but I drink 4 drinks at school...so sometimes I can't just wait.

LOL! I used to have that problem, but the way I see it is that's exactly what a bathroom is for.. to pee and do #2 (although I like doing #2 a little more discreetlly, or I'll wait 'til I get home). People who use the washroom pratically expect to hear some sort of peeing sound in the stall. That's the reason why they go to the washroom! Plus, I highly doubt they get all quiet just to hear someone pee! That would be a bit disturbing. I know for myself I just ignore it and get along with my business. So my dear, I wouldn't worry about it. If you gotta go, you gotta go, right?

When I need to go pee I have no problem what so ever if someone is in the next stall , talking to me through the wall, looking me in the face indoors outdoor it does not matter. Then again I was raised the oldest of six kids in a 3 bedroom one bath house so privacy was something we never had. I also have went camping since a young child and was taught to pee and shower outdoors with just a sheet to screen you from the public.

I cannot pee, if I know someone is outside the door at home or in a public restroom and there are people in there. I can't even pee when my kids are in the same stall as me (young kids).
I run the sink water when I go, or turn on the fan to make noise.

If I'm in a public restroom and someone else is in there who is quiet I wait for them to flush the toilet or make some kind of noise. I know how you feel. I feel like people are listening to me and I hate it. I don't even like people knowing I'm going to the restroom much less think they're listening to me. I'm not crazy I know they really aren't listening to just me but that's how it feels lol.

Listening is fine, as long as they are on the other side of the door. Watching, is a big no !
My ex boyfriend was totally pee-shy though. He would stand there and do nothing... he would even hide himself when I passed by (even though I had already seen it before). He just had a thing about peeing while people were around. I feel sorry for guys that have to stand next to each other and pee.

just go. it's normal. be thankful your kidneys work. some people don't have that luxury...think of it this way: at least your not in the next stall over from someone who has diarrhea. and if you are, that's even more reason to do your thing and get out of there as quickly as you can.

I cant either, it doesnt work for most people but I just imagine that I am there alone. I can pee if someone is listening if I really have to go.

Is pooping in a public restroom out of the question for you?
