30-50 pounds would be healthy. I have a problem with high blood pressure as well and I brought mine down without any prescriptions that the doctors kept insisting on. Here's how you can do it too. Go to either Walmart or GNC and buy a bottle of Hawthorn Berry capsules and a bottle of Fish Oil with Omega 3 capsules. Both are natural and very safe. Take 1 hawthorn berry capsules, 3 times a day, like morning, lunch, and dinner. Twice a day take 1 fish oil capsule, one with either breakfast or lunch, and the other with dinner. Lay off of sodas, you can still drink them, but cut back on them, same with coffee, cut it back. Cut back on dairy such as cheeses and milk, just limit it. Limit pasta, eat it sensibly only. Trust me, this will bring the high blood pressure right down and you'll notice because you will feel better. I researched this and did it myself, it's helped me BIG TIME. I was determined I'd never go on prescription high blood pressure medicinces because it almost killed my Grandmother and causes my Mom more health issues, and I didn't! This works and it's safe. Do it for 2-3 weeks and then recheck your blood pressure, it will be lower. I was even getting dissy and fainting spells with my headaches because mine was so high.Get Hawthorn Berry Capsules and Fish Oil with Omega 3 capsules and a pill box from a Dollar store, fill it with 3 Hawthorn and 2 fish oil per day slot so you know your not missing any doses. Hope your feeling better soon.

Well if your 5'10 and 220 pounds then you should be fine that is not big at all for that height. Are you sure its not low blood pressure and not high?? If its low I suggest doing some research and asking a doctor what you can do to help you out. I think eating fiber and that healthy heart garbage helps with high blood pressure don't quote me on that though I ain't no doctor.

you should weigh around 165-175lbs. at most. Do try to get more exercise and physical activity. You may have to slowly build up your physical ability and activities and dont eat after 7pm.
Hope that helps you somewhat.

Do not listen to "mccamel1". someone who uses the words "healthy heart garbage" truly has no idea what they are talking about when referring to health issues. 220lbs. at 5'10 is overweight by a good piece and especially for a person only 20yrs old
Also, cooked tomatos (not raw) i.e. paste or sauces etc. can do as much to lower your blood pressure as any medicine but you need to get at least 10 tablespoons a week of it. And that's not hard to do

YOu physically sound like me..

Let me tell you what I read about to help me exercise. I don't like to run, I too get tired too fast..

So do this: Running... Yes put on a watch with second hands and take off running.. run for a full minute.. then walk for 2 min.. your heart rate will start up after the first min.. and work its way back down on the walk.. then do it again, 1 min run and 2 min walk.. do this for a 1/2 hour per day.. yes you will be in your cardio workout stage during the whole workout..

Also keep a check on the rice your eating.. cut back on that.. eat 5 times a day, but a small amount and keep a breakfast in your diet... no food after 7pm..

good luck.. you'll drop the weight with these small steps..

PROMISE

At 5 feet 10 i think you should weigh 180 pounds. So, you only need to lose about 30-40 pounds to feel better and get healthier.

You can actually lose weight without exercising.

I know plenty of people who are in wheelchairs (they can't walk or jog, etc) and they have lost weight.

Just watch what you eat. If you are not in the habit of eating vegetables or fruit, then you need to get yourself into the habit of eating them.

Fruits, Vegetables, Lean Meats, Brown Rice, Whole Grains, Whole Wheat Breads, Low Fat dairy products (milk, cheese, yogurt, etc). All those foods are healthy and it's easy to get into the habit of eating them.

Get in the habit of eating healthy foods and the weight will come right off.

Also, remember to drink lots of water and green tea.

Avoid sweet food, junk food, salty food, fast food, and drinks with lots of calories in them.

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lprotein (lentils, soy products) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

70 pounds would put you in the very healthy range.

You probably get tired quickly when you exercise because of your diet and or lack of muscle. Your high blood pressure could also affect your tiredness.

Be sure that you are eating enough protein in your diet. Cut back on startchy carbs and oils.

You should lose about 30 pounds. As far as the rice goes you should be eating brown rice and cut back on the oil when cooking. If you use sugar you should cut it out. You'd be surprise how much you can use by doing that.
Get a list of foods and check as to how much natural sugar is in it and cut down on those.
Hope your headaches disappear.

Dance, or just walk. Don't eat before bed and eat your biggest meal of the day in the morning. Then get up and do something. Exercise will help your blood pressure. Get active. You are not huge, but if you don't do something about it now, you will be.

thats good that you get exhausted! that means that you are trying to work at it! i think that you might want to lose anywhere from 40 to 60 pounds to get into good shape! but that might be durastic right now! just think in smaller goals i.e. five pounds a month or something like that! just diet and exercise will help you lose weight in no time! bafore you know it you will look grrrrreat!
hope this helps,
