Malachi 2:10 - “Is it not one father that all of us have? Is it not one God that has created us? . . ."
Psalms 83:18 - "That people may know that you, whose name is Jehovah, You alone are the Most High over all the earth."
Isaiah 43:10,11 - " “YOU are my witnesses,” is the utterance of Jehovah, “even my servant whom I have chosen, in order that YOU may know and have faith in me, and that YOU may understand that I am the same One. Before me there was no God formed, and after me there continued to be none. I—I am Jehovah, and besides me there is no savior.”
Answers the question, doesn't it?

No other "god" comes close to the one, true, God, Almighty, Creator of the Universe. Anyone who has a relationship with Him, through being born-again and washed in the Blood of the Lamb, knows, Dear one! I hope someday you shall, too!

I once heard a remarkable theory that attests that all gods are one. That all beliefs contained their truths and respected God's love -- just from a different angle. This concept supports the existence of all the world's religions, like Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, and even animism (what the Native Americans believed).
First, I must quickly explain the concept of the Holy Trinity, assuming that you are not familiar with it. This suggests that God is three beings in one. He is God as the Father (the most common image -- created the Earth, speaks in the Bible, etc.), God as the Son (this would mean Jesus -- yes, God is Jesus), and God as the Holy Spirit (God's power enacted on Earth -- comes in the form of inspiration, usually).
So onto the theory:
It's as if the Holy Trinity is understood by each religion in a different way: the Religions of the Books (Islam - Quran and Christianity - Bible) are closest to God through the concept of a prophet here on earth (God the Son), the Religions of Silence (Buddhism - meditation) seem to be in touch with God the Father through their souls, and the Religions of the Spirit (Hinduism, animism) best accept the presence of God as the Holy Spirit.
Do you see how these tie together, forming different aspects of, perhaps, truly the same God? This is my basis for regarding every religion as truthful -- I chose Christianity because I can personally identify with it most easily.
What do *you* think?

There is a Web Site of Gods Names in Judaism. The God of Israel/Judah is the same God as Christians or Messianic Jews. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Names_of_God_in_Judaism . These names are how they are pronounced from the Old Hebrew biblical books. These are the Names of God. I put it short - El Elyon or I AM that I AM (Ehyah Asher Ehyah), the Yahweh thy Elohim, One (AKD) Yahweh.

There is only one True God. The Creator and lord and Master of The Universe.... No mortal can know God unless God alows it... But you can seek Him.... All who come to God in The Way He prescribes will receive His free gift of Salvation. Those become part of The Body of The Church of which Jesus The Christ is The Head. Those are the ones of The True Christian Faith. Only those of The Church will enter Heaven.
If you have a question concerning The True Christian Faith you may email me. I do not "know it all" but one honest question will receive one honest answer to the best of my ability.

The God that Abraham, Isaac and Jacob worshiped - the God that came to earth as a baby to save the world from sin - is the only real God. I know because of fulfilled prayers and prophecies.

Honey, they are all real to the people who worship or revere them. There are many Gods and Goddesses in many different cultures. There is no ONE TRUE god for everyone.

God the God of the Holy Bible, the one who created everything, parted the sea, heals the sick, raises people from the dead, and sent his son to die for us.

The Gods, God, GodHead, Allah, who ever you want to name are all very real because they exist inside people. They are real to those who want Them to be.
Truth is relative. Your truth might not be my truth. Example being some religions think women inferior, a mans helper while mine exaults women as givers of life, a form to be honored next to male. I don't think my truth is any more or less right then thier. Its how they choose to live, what brings them meaning.
Tolerance is about knowledge and respect. We won't really know which is the "real" god or if there is any at all until we die. I'm in no hurry to find out, so I'll just go on what I personally believe and encourage people to find thier own spiritual path even if it leads to not having one at all.
Haha I love the thumbs down. I am such an evil person preaching tolerance. Jesus would just hate me. LOL
