I had a mixed martial art show on television, I walked away to go get a drink of water. Come back and see on the TV two girls making out as part of a commercial. You see strippers on bill boards. You are on the internet on a site that is for a legitimate purpose then you see near naked women links. There are endless examples. Is there anyway to protect children from all the perversions society is selling?

Yes, it is a very real problem in our society. I don't think there is a way to completely protect your children from seeing these images. Sex is EVERYWHERE! However, what you can do is teach your children how to handle the images and the effects the images will have on their minds. Let them know of your disapproval. Let them know why you disapprove. Education is the key.

Move to the top of a mountain....

There is no way that you can protect your children 100%.

But the way You live Your Life, is your children's guide book on how to live theirs.

It's more about what and how you teach your children than it what is on the outside influences.

Not completely. The most important thing you can do is be an example to your children. You can say something is perverse on TV, but if you watch it, they'll watch it too.

YOU CAN'T. You just have to talk to your kids, and set an example. To me, that is one of the major problems these days. Parents who try to protect their kids to much. In order to learn, kids need to see whats going on in the world, and then the parents need to tell them why such things are wrong or why they are right, which ever the case may be. To many parents are raising kids that do not have a clue about the real world, and when they enter that world, they are unprepared. TALK TO YOUR KIDS. That is the best thing to do. NO matter how hard we try as parents, they are going to see violence, sex, drugs, etc.....we just have to be the ones to guide them. They will live the way we live, set an example.

Till what age you consider child to be a child? You can't protect anybody from those adverts, but you should create an understanding of what is wrong and what is right. The earlier you kid knows that naked girl is a "cheap" girl the better for you.

I wish that I could tell you that it is possible but it isn't. You might be able to reduce it by means of home schooling, rating blocker on the tv, and parental controls on the internet, but even then you child could see some of that stuff. The truth of the matter is most everything is tainted with that sort of stuff now.

Protect them as best you can. Avoid areas with these types of behaviours. Not only boycott, but let these companies, TV stations, Internet sites, buildings with these signs on them, and even your neighbours know how you feel. I think it is about time we all did. If we want a moral society we have to start acting like one.

Unfortunately not.. You just have to do the best you can and raiseyour children not to give into what they see on in the media. Show them what reality is, and teach them to believe not whats on TV but in something good, like religion for example.

Well, first you cannot protect them from everything...so just TALK to your kids!!! Start telling them there are things in this world that are not going to be nice for them to see, and if they EVER have any questions about anything to come and talk to you. Start very young so they will feel comfortable coming to you later on in life.

You can't put a box over your childrens heads, they know what's out there, but you can educate them.
If I see a "trampy" looking girl I tell my teenager "Hey there's a walking sperm bank" or tell him "How would you like to catch herpies from that thing?"

Planting seeds in their heads when they're young makes them look at perversion differently. I dont tell them what to do, I just plant seeds to make the slutty girls look cheap.
