What does that have to do with my question?

Gypsy Ro-Sorry?Who told you that, god? Spread the word is a general religious term as far as I am aware. You are very paranoid about something, what are you hiding? Or are you a christian, they always seem to act this way.

If you will accept that the fanatical beliefs and practices of Evolutionism and Secular Humanism confirm that they are religions, then they win, hands down! Otherwise, Islam definitely has the most blood on its hands! Where do you think the red fez of the Shriner came from - from being dipped in the blood of slain Christians who refused to convert to Islam! Of course, the Masonic web sites will refute this because any non-Mason is not privy to their "Ancient, Secret and most Sacred Rites"!
However, if you consider Communism as a "religion": under Lenin, Stalin, Khrushchev, Brezhnev, et al., and their successors; Mao Zedong & Chou En-lai, et al. and their sucessors; Kim Il Sung & Kim Jong Il and their successors; Ho Chi Mihn, et al., they have the most blood on their hands.

sweetheart I know you want me to say Christians, because you added "spreading the word", but I am going to tell you the truth. muslims, for centuries, long before Christians even existed tried to take over the entire middle east and surrounding areas. They were brutal fighters with no mercy. Now go study history of Turkey, Iraq, Persia, Persian sea, India, Afghanistan, Iran...etc. then come back and talk about blood okay...add to it that they are still killing and spilling blood even unto today. - the rose

Christianity, without a doubt. even though i concede some of it was not done directly in the name of christianity. the list of large scale, world changing atrocities by christianity is unparalleled. the inquisition, the systematic slaughter and extermination of competing christian beliefs (the gnostiocs and other heretics were slaughtered), 100 years war, the occupation and destruction of the native people of America, american slavery, witch trials, the kkk. it goes on and on.

Easy one. I pronounce a tie between christianity and islam. Islam was a slow starter, but has been doing well at catching up.

I believe non-religious wars have caused far more deaths. Well over 70,000,000 deaths!
---------------
Let's review the list of American Wars.
French and Indian War - Not about religion
Revolutionary War - Not about religion - 4,000 dead
Spanish-American War - Not about religion
Civil War - Not about religion - 618,000 dead
War of 1812 - Not about religion - 2,000 dead
World War I - Not about religion - 15,000,000 dead
World War II - Not about religion - 55,000,000 dead
Korean War - Not about religion - 54,000 dead
Vietnam War - Not about religion - 58,000 dead
================================
Why not ask what religion has opened more schools, opened more hospitals, and feed and cloth the homeless? I suspect that this question is worded just-so to mislead people into thinking that: WAR = Chrisianity
