The proof read was on your capitalizing atheist, I think. some folks are a little touchy ion that, as it is often used as an insult.
They are more common in industrialized nations and urban settings.

Not sure why people are trashing your question. I would imagine you would find a large percentage of Atheists living in cosmopolitan centers where differences of opinions are more tolerated, as well as college towns.

I don't think they are settled in just one area i think they are spread out. If i had to guess i would say over in the eastern US.

Under the stairs leading down to people's basements where we wait for your children to climb down and we eat them alive.
stupid line of questions........ atheists, catholics, baptists, buddhists, etc etc etc.... all live in different parts of the world in different kinds of homes. You cannot generalize all people from one race, religion, country into one category & say ALL atheists live in apartments or all catholics live in houses...... There are no standard places of living for anyone.
