Purely from the standpoint of the law, viewing pornography over the internet is not illegal. If you are under 18, show pornography to somebody who is under 18, or view pornographic images of somebody who is under 18, you are committing a crime. Else, it's as legal as can be.

Pornography is legal unless the person viewing or being viewed is under 18. However, libraries, schools, work places can restrict access to pornograpic and other web sites. If you are under 18 don't go there. If you suspect the subjects are under 18, leave quickly and report it to the police

(Assuming you live in the US) Viewing? No. There may be laws in certain areas involving where you can view it, whether you are making it available for minors, if you are showing it publicly, but none for viewing it. In fact, as disgusting as it is, it is not even illegal to view child pornography. It only becomes illegal if you create or possess it (picture, video, download). Messed up law in my opinion, but it needs to be that way to prevent people "accidentally" viewing it from being punished.

Pornography is legal for adults. Viewing child pornography is a crime as is knowingly exposing a child to pornography.

Its fine when you are over 18yrs old and it involves no kids. but personally i advice not to, this is from my personal experience.
I too saw it as whether its legal or not, it was legal but its just immoral. I may sound like a granny now, but you will understand me later.
you don't have to act on anything that makes you feel uncomfortable. Think twice, then no heading back.
