Anyone know what the proper spelling is? Perhaps it is a male/female different spelling thing.

Thanks.

A little bit of twist here.
"Te Amo" is Spanish first person, however,
"Te Ama" which is the feminine spelling of the verb "Amar", refers to the third person
"Ella te ama"; "she loves you", which in Italian is; "l'ama"

Te amo /teh ahmoh/ is Spanish for I love you
Ti amo /tee ahmoh/ is Italian for I love you

There s no difference if you are telling it to a male or a female.

It's not "Te Amo" is "Ti Amo"..."te amo" means i love you in spanish, "ti amo" in italian...and is the same thing for male/female. Italians remark the "i" in "ti amo"

Ti Amo or you could say Ti voglio bene if you want to say "I really love you (want you)"!

"Te ama" is not a feminine spelling. It's the third person singular of the verb "amar" in the present tense in Spanish. It can be translated "HE loves you" or "SHE loves you".

In Italian it would be "Ti ama".
