When atheists and other non-Christians ask questions that challenge Christian views, many of you ask “Why do you atheists care what we think?” I cannot speak for all non-believers, but the reason that I care what you think is because I seek the truth. When almost every single person I know or come into contact with believes in Christianity, it is only natural that I should wonder why they believe the way they do, especially when it seems so false to me. I ask questions about Christian beliefs in hope that I will come closer to the truth. Either the Christian will say something that reaffirms my lack of belief in Christianity, or they may say something that makes me re-think my current view of things. I do not blindly believe in atheism or deism the way that Christians seem to blindly believe in their religion.

The truth is most non-believers won't recieve the truth. They try to ridicule what believers say, resorting to name calling (on both sides), saying we are fools to believe, saying every negative thing about the God we love and trust. Then they turm around and say prove that your God exists. They try to make logical what can't be made logical. They try to reason Holiness with science (it can't be done.) We don't blindly believe, we have FAITH, which means we call those things that be not as though they were. You will NEVER believe as long as you you try to reason with Godly things. They are beyond your scope of inteligence( no disrespect intended). Faith is a matter of the heart. The only way you can recieve the Truth is to seek the truth through the Word of God, attend a Bible believing, Bible teaching Church. There are many fantastic churches that are not full of hyprocrits and genuinely want you to grow and prosper...p.s. Church is like a hospital, there are many sick people with issues that come to get help. So don't think that when you go to church, everybody is perfect ( including the pastor.) We come together to worship, to praise, to learn, to grow, to love ect..

We do not blindly believe in our faith.I've studied plenty of philosophies and religions as well as history.Christianity is the absolute truth.I understand your worldview far better than you perceive to understand mine.I know the tenets of other belief systems. You do not, or you would not say others blindly follow their faith.Non-believers care what we believe because God gives everyone a conscience.Everyone knows deep down inside that man is not a god.

I believe because in my heart is a feeling that I'm more than just an animal to die and be forgotten.
I have a soul or conscience or awareness in me that will not accept the idea of death without God. It was stronger when I was a child.
But the point is that my belief in God and Jesus gives me hope of everlasting life. If I die and never wake up, I'll never know the difference, anyhow.
But if I obey the teachings of God and follow my conscience then maybe; just maybe I'll rise again in a place with no more death.

Jesus said the harvest is great but the workers are few .The harvest I am talking about is the conclusion of this system of things we live in today. The reapers are the angels. You my friend must not only believe but you must be whole souled.
when you finally come to that realization,I believe you will want to burst forth and tell others about the Christ.

how else do you believe but blindly.and maybe 'foolishly' in someone who has saved you, created you, spoke to you?

you believe in the wind and you cant see it

you believe in atmospheric pressure but you cant see it

you believe in the ozone layer depleting, but with the naked eye, once again we cant see it

it is a matter of faith.

you said you are looking for someone to convince you.

I dont push my beliefs on others. sometimes suggestions are necessary.

You can't test God, but you can ask for a revelation.

I completely understand what you are saying, but here is the catch.

This thought process basically affirms that you are a believer. Not a believer in a "Bible" god, but the god of logic.

If it doesn't make sense to you, then you decide to not believe. God doesn't always make sense. He doesn't have to. We are his creation.. how can we expect to wrap our finite minds around the creator?

Hope this helps in your search for truth..

Actually, speaking only for myself, of course, I don't care what they believe. In the grand scheme of things, the only thing important in my life is what I think and what my loved ones think. Anything or anyone else is just perifery.

Honestly, I don't care if everyone else is delusional. It bothers me only when they ask for laws or school curriculum to be altered to fit their delusions.
