Why do you ask? It appears that there is a real question that you want to ask but afraid to.

I would lie without qualms to save an innocent person's life. I would lie to save someone's feeling when truth can only hurt and nothing positive can come from the truth. In all cases when I had to lie, I knew whether it was right or wrong. Boy, it is painful to follow the right path. Sometimes I wish I could ask in a forum like this and someone would say, yeh it is OK. When you ask this question, my guess is that you would need to answer something and you would really rather not answer truthfully. You also know that it is not a white lie and it is wrong to lie in this particular case. But I'm not the one to cast the first stone. I for one try to have a realistic expectation of what a mortal can do or aspire to do & continue to improve myself. Reducing the number of lies that I know is wrong is part of that.

Depends on the lie... for example....
If your man wants to see an action move, but you really want to see a chick flick, but you say want to see the action movie, that is not an immoral lie.

Saying you dont have a STD and you really do is an immoral lie.

It certainly is immoral to lie. One of the Ten Commandments says,"Thou shalt not bear false witness."
Lies hurt everyone.

It depends on the lie. Nothing wrong with a little white lie.

in case you're giving a toddler something they do unlike or want yet you comprehend it quite is needed for his or her wellness desires, then it is your duty to override their "needs" and make constructive they get what they want. No, i do no longer want to lie to them. definite, lies are sin, ie, ethical blunders. yet a lie is in basic terms a lie despite if it quite is in the middle. you do no longer say, "this spinach will make you strengthen as much as have muscle groups like Popeye's" because of the fact that's actual, or to earnings something that's no longer yours, yet quite to sell nicely being in someone who can't make those judgements on their very own. God seems on the middle, no longer what we are saying or do. a guy can do an incredibly solid element, like feed the unfavorable. If he does it to earnings want with God or guy and not because of the fact it quite is in his heart to furnish and to assist those much less fortunate, then his giving is fruitless in his existence, even nonetheless the hungry have been crammed. it quite is usually a be counted of the middle with God.
