The tree of the knowledge of good and evil is simply people making up their own truths to suit their self loves.

If you love yourself you will go to your like in the next life.

It doomed all of mankind.

Now that we "know" good and evil,
we are responsible for the consequences.

Free will and choice... our blessing and curse.
