I would pick Taylor, This would possibly be a mega-fight in the USA because both guys were on the US Olympic team and were medalist. Taylor has proven that he is very talented, but needs to be more disciplined(sorta like Bernard Hopkins)

I have to agree with rickthereckless. Lacy is one dimensional but not as bad as people say. The guy is still America's best smw and has a couple of decent wins. Taylor certainly wouldn't knock him out and Lacy always has a puncher's chance. I just see Taylor doing enough for the points win.

That would be a good one. I think Lacy would come in as the underdog because of the Calzaghe fight, and he didn't look very good in his last fight either. However, he shows heart because he's never been knocked out. Taylor although he is undefeated hasn't shown he has knockout power against top fighters, he couldn't knock out Kasim Ouma, and he was landing a lot of powershots that night and Ouma was the smaller man. I'd have to say taylor by split decision, I don't think he can knockout Lacy..

Taylor easy. Lacy showed in his last two fights he can't stop punches up the middle(especially against Callzaghe). Taylor thows as hard a jab that I've seen, Lacy would be helpless. Taylor brings everything a fighter like Callzaghe brings and more, plus he's taken punches from Hopkins&Wright, and good counter punches. I think if taylor fought a disciplined bout, he would KO Lacy late in the fight from wearin him down with that monster jab. A onesided bout.

Jermain Taylor, would have the boxing skills like Calzaghe to keep the rushing Lacy a way.

Unfortunately - Taylor probably would win it. Lacy has proven to be too 1 dimentional, and with his torn rotator cuff - may be done for good now.

skills i would say Taylor. but Taylor gets lazy and is very vulnerable to a straight right lead that's why i think he is avoiding calzaghe
