Your question assumes there is a "down" for it to "fall". Maybe the Universe fills all the space. Maybe the laws of gravitation don't apply. The Universe simply Is.

look to science for the answer as god created the heavens and the earth he also created the the science ...maybe man has learnt enough about gods rules of how things work they may have worked it out
