Did earth really need human beings? why not just plant life and animals of certain types to keep the planet going?

Scientists have some opinion that life might be on other planets but with no solid proof. But if those planets are condusive to some sort of life it does not include what we know as human beings.

The Book of Genesis states GOD made man for his pleasure in his own image, what does evolution say why earth needed human beings for survival?

Who said the the earth needed human beings to survive? God wanted to make man in His image, and to share His love with us! By the way evolution is retarded! Who cares what they think.

The earth doesn't need anything.

I think you're stuck in some sort of mindtrap where the earth needs a designer or a consciousness for some reason. It doesn't.

The earth formed the way it did because that was a stable way for the matter to form in this position in the solar system in this position in the galaxy.

Life formed, because on the conditions on this planet, amino acids are a stable form for the chemicals that exist on this planet. Life evolved through mutations that were similarly stable. This includes all the plants and animals, including humans.

Necessity doesn't enter the equation at all, except to say that life, as we have it, needs the earth to be the way it is.

because it's part of being a human being. some people think it others act it. there is no particular reason that can be found and corrected. the good comes with the evil. it's a matter of choice on an individual level. one can choose to concentrate on their negative or positive side.

You got that backwards. The earth doesn't need man, Man needs the earth.
But without men like Alan Turing, programs like mine couldn't exist. Does that make Him a God too?

through history dogs, sheep, lions, monkeys, horses have always looked the same.God wanted man to enjoy the earth. What caused nothing to decide to form into a blob to explode itself (for whatever reason). To form a precision universe (that even galaxy clusters can be mapped.what pushes the galaxy clusters?).why did molecules form and decide to form "simple" life?why and when did something form something else?If life is on another planet why does that life have to extremely more advanced then here (what scientific evidence shows that earth is not the most advanced?).

Hope you don't live with such incredibly stupid logic. Your life is definitely not "needed" then.

It's like hitting the golf ball anywhere you like and then say, why did golf ball has to fall to this place only, why didn't it stop two centimeters short?

There is no need for mankind. No one that I know has ever said there was one. There's no need for mosquitos either, but we have 'em. What difference does it make?

God decided it to be that way.

Man's job was to take care of the land. Adam & Eve sinned....and therefore, thorns & thistles came in. We now have to break our backs farming & tilling the land and work for our food.

Well...I'm not a farmer...all of the work is done for me now. I simply go to Target and buy it pre-packaged now.

But shopping is still a form of work.....
