i recenlty just had a baby girl in March. My boyfriend was semi supporting me while i went to school and worked part time. My boyfriend and i are not working out so he decided to kick me out. I am so close to getting my R.nursing drgree. I do not have time to work and go to school especially now since i am a single mother. I dont know what to do. I cannot afford to pay for rent and all of our other bills. I do not want to go back to work at the moment cause school to me is so much more important in the long run for my daughter and I. what can i do??? I am so nervous. I dont have support from family or anything

I agree with the previous answerer. Get on assistance in the short term, though I am sure they will require you to work a minumum of 20 hours a week. They will however in most states help with daycare, medical, food stamps. They will also make your boyfriend pay child support.

Trust me, when you're out of school and making the nurse salary, the feds and the state will get that money back in taxes.

Good luck.

Go get public assistance. You will only need it for a short time and they will make sure your boyfriend will pay his fair share. And school is definately more important in the long run. Dont fel shameful about it since you know you will be off it in a jiffy. Every one get into trouble once and awhile and needs a little extra help. Its those who abuse the system that give welfare a bad reputation.
