Mapquest says from Vancouver to just inside California is 10 1/2 hours and 640 miles. Adjusting for border crossing and various traffic conditions, I'd expect more like over 12 hours.

My parents and I drove down to LA from White Rock BC, just outside Vancouver. I seem to remember we had a two night stop over in motels. I remember the vibrating bed! We would have taken our time of course. No rush on holiday.

It depends where in California you wanna go. To the Oregon/ California border for the Canadian border is about 15 hours

From L.A. to Vancouver is about 1300 miles, so about 24 hr drive?
