ok, so i call this guy that i meet about 3 weeks ago, me and this guy have hung out like 3 times but in a big group. well i called him last night and asked him if he wanted to hang out some time ( just us two) and he said sure that would be great. I was going to get back with him on the date and time and stuff. well i go to thinking and i thought we could go bowling either tonight or next thursday, should i call him and see if he wants to go tonight or wait and asked him in a few days about next week??

To call and ask him to go tonight would be bad form.
Call him tonight to set everything up, but not to go out tonight.

call him and ask him about going tonight. if he cant make it ask him about next thursday.
if he agrees then call him on tuesday or wednesday and ask him if he is still on for thursday night. then carry your normal conversation.
if he doenst agree then ask him when a good night is for you guys to hang out. if he doenst really tell you a night that he is available or needs to check his schedule (which he should already know by heart or have infront of him) he is obviously not as interested as he seemed to be and was just being nice when he said it would be great to hang out with you.

Why not ask him about tonight? No need to wait...this life is short, ya never know what may be going on in a few days or a week...don't let opportunities pass you by.

the best advice i can give you is you obviously have a should i or should i not type feeling. this is your gut instincts. stick with them. you should hold off if there's any doubts. besides all you've got is time on your hands. you can get anything you want if you wait for the right moment.
