It depends on the vehicle you use. I could be zero if you walk or ride a bike, or 100 gallons if you drive a 11 mpg gas guzzler.
A medium size car should take 50 gallons. (21 mpg)
Anyway, find the mpg of the car you will use and divide 1030 miles to the mpg of the car. The result will be the estimated fuel consumption.

It depends on what your car gets for gas mileage. If you get 25 miles to the gallon.. it would be about 41 gallons. x that by how much gas costs where you are.. If its $3.18 a gallon.. it would be $131.00

It depends on how many gallons of gas per mile your car gets and whether or not you have a double tank.

In a Prius, around 25 gallons.
In a Hummer, around 90 gallons.
This assumes an average mix of city/highway driving.

You need to add details about your car. Otherwise I could give you like a hybrids mpg versus your gas guzzler. Revise and more help can be offered.
