in my class at school in biology we were measuring the average armspan in the class. i came like the heightest but the same with this other girl but she is really TALL!!! i am only 5ft and i am told that armspan is supposed to be close to your height. why why why??? :(

You don't mention your age -- but it may be that as you get older, you will "grow into" the length of your arms by getting taller still.

Heredity and genes can make strange things happen, of course. Notice that nasty word -- AVERAGE -- in what you are measuring. If you have learned about BELL curves, you should know that there are always people at the top and bottom ends of "average".

Don't worry about it -- I've got long ones for my height, too. Personally, I like it -- it makes scratching those unreachable parts of my back SO much easier! Also great for zipping up the back of my own dresses.

And don't let the fools at the top of the answering pile get you down -- they think they are funny, for some reason.

i have really long arms, sometimes people have this disease called Marphans Syndrome. i don't have it, but if you have unusually long lanky stems then u might want to get that checked out. i have really long arms but it's no big deal, i can put sunblock on my back with no help.
