It's mainly his belly? How often does he drink alcohol? Alcohol is probably the worst drink anyone could possibly consume because it's a an empty calorie. Since the body doesn't know what to do with it, it immediately stores alcohol in the belly -- hence the name beer belly. You want him to lose weight then that's a start. It would also be wise to set him up on an exercise routine. And you may be packing him healthy lunches, but is he really eating them? Nothing will work unless he cooperates. He has to make that choice.

I used to weigh 357lbs, now I weigh 193. How did I do it?
There is a dietary supplement which addresses your specific concern, it worked for me! It's called "RELACORE", besides being a great weight loss supplement it kicks belly fat butt, if you catch my drift! It also gives you a SERIOUS pre workout BOOST! Also, besides a every other day weight training schedule, ride a recumbent bike for at least an hour. You will be pleased with your results I PROMISE! Now, losing weight is a simple equation: if you burn more calories than you eat, the weight will come off. Start off by estimating how many calories you burn each day using the calorie calculator http://straighthealth.com/pages/tools/ca... This will give you an idea of how many calories to eat. Healthy weight loss is 1-2 pounds per week. To lose 1 pound per week you need to create a calorie deficit (burn more than you eat) of 500 calories per day. To lose 2 pounds a week, you have to double the deficit to 1000 calories per day. You can achieve this by eating less, exercising more or a combination of both.

As for exercise, start off on a recumbent bike and go at a low Resistance for 15 minutes a day, increase by 5 minutes a week and by the time you're up to half an hour, if you also follow the above advice you'll have lost 35 plus pounds and you'll suddenly have the motivation you need to lose the rest, plus you're abs will start to get that coveted "6pack" look.!

cut the sugar and the soft drinks or beer replace anything with sugar with splenda even when baking. also cut of fried foods and white bread, pastas
be patient it's gonna take time for him to adjust to new foods just make sure he's moving and or exercising on a regular basis.
you're on the right path when riding bikes it's excellent for cardio and leg muscles.. try to do different... like nice walk also the worst is when it's get to be a routine you get bored and stop easily. Good luck both of you!

I have the same problem with my daughter. I buy healthy food and pack healthy lunch boxes for school, but I cannot control what she puts in her mouth.
At this point I have realized that it doesn't matter how hard I try to help her with her diet. She needs to be the one who wants to live a healthy life and stop eating junk food or drinking too many sodas.
You can talk to him about the health problems and convince him that he has to take care of his body to avoid future problems.

I have to laugh when you say that you cook healthy meals for him daily only because I see the guys at work and hear them talk about the healthy food that their wife makes while in the mean time, they are at the snack machines and eating heavy carbs at work. There is a guy at work that brings a very healthy lunch in one bag that his wife gives him and then there is the unhealthy bag that he brings in from items that he purchased from the store before coming to work.
I guess, your husband will change when he is ready.

If he does drink alcohol, I would have him get a liver function test he may have acites ( fluid build-up in his stomach cavity) I had that, I went from a size 34 to a 58 in 6 months, I got soo big that I ruptured a major vein in my stomach and almost died. infact I was concidered clinically dead twice untill they stopped the bleeding. Just to be on the safe side.

Exercise and diet are the key for reducing, as you already know. If not working, maybe they need readjustments. Consult with your doctor, and pray to Almighty God who is the best Healer.
Being too heavy endangers health. Life is already too short. Do not make it still shorter. We may face eternity at anytime. Never, never, miss Heaven for anything in this troubled world.
Come to Christ with sincere repentance and all your sins will be forgiven you, and Heaven will be your eternal abode.

I was very attracted when my wife was pregnant. Although, my wife had the mental idea that i wasn't and I had a hard time convincing her of reality. Pregnant women have emotional problems sometimes.
