Depends on the man. usually, guys who are fortunate to have survived many trials and difficulties in life, and learned from them, grow up fairly quickly. Growing up to me means accepting responsibility for my actions and that happened to me around 1992. It doesnt mean that I dont act silly and laugh a lot, because I still do.

there are two main types of guys....those looking for a replacement mother and those looking to be good husbands.

you probably had a run in with the the mom-seeker type.

its sad the those exist. Most men grow up when they're with a woman, she forces them to become a man. thats another beautiful thing about women, they make us guy grow. gotta love it.

Men grow up when they find something they really want and work really hard to get it. However, after attaining the "thing" they want, they may become childish again until they find something else that they really want.

Never, nor do women. There is this saying from a mexican movie that goes something like this:

"In the end, there is nothing you can do. You are always 18, because you are young only once, but inmature for life".

This quote hit home.

When that first Social Security check arrives in the mailbox.

Actually it is different ages depending on the guy. I would say a good guess would be early to mid 30's.
