My b/f is 20 and I am 18...He is scared to kiss me!! Lol. He is very very shy...I have never been with a shy guy before and I don't know what to do! I am extremely shy, so I have always liked out-going guys. Now that I am with someone who is shy such as myself, I have no clue what to do. I over-heard my b/f talking with a female friend of ours about how he has been wanting to kiss me, but he just can't cuz he scared and shy. Can someone please give me some advice; how should I encourage him to kiss me, WITHOUT me actually kissing him 1st. I want him to be the man, and I want to encourage him to be less shy. Oh, and he isn't shy about anything else...He is only shy when it comes to girls. He is actually pretty popular...Please help!

flirt a lot with him and get really close just see if he'll make a move further...if not, let him come at you in his own time, you don't want to force it cuz then it won't be as special for either of you, oh and another thing...maybe joke around about it over texting like say" oh i though you were gonna plant one on me today!" or whatever cuz that's what my 1st bf did we joked about it so much that i was kinda used dto the idea by the time it happened.... kiss him on the cheek too...

This is a sign of immaturity. Well, not so much immaturity as idealism. You put the "first kiss" on a pedestal, meaning you make it out to be a bigger deal than it actually is. Here are a few reasons why you should NOT have your first kiss when you're 25ish. 1. You never know if you will divorce this fiance. Therefore if you kiss him and divorce him later, isn't that the same thing as kissing your boyfriend now and then breaking up with him? 2. Your first kiss will suck and your fiance will be turned off. Trust me, practice and only practice, makes perfect. 3. Other people will find you really weird. Being a 25 year old virgin is totally acceptable. But one that has not even kissed is definitely shunned by society. 4. Kissing is fun and it's NOT a big deal. Remember sharing your drink with your friends or sometimes even a guy? That's like kissing, exchanging spit through mouth contact.

Since you are so adamant about kissing him, then the only thing you can do to get him to kiss you first is, tell him you need to practice your CPR and if he could be the one giving the CPR. If that doesn't work, then you will have to settle for not getting kissed unless you kiss him first

I would say to kiss him first, but if you're too shy for that, then tell him that you want him to kiss you. Discuss it with the man. If he knows you want it, he'll be less shy, and probably try it right away. It'll be hard to say it too, but just blurt it out whenever so that he knows.

I guess you could bribe him into it, it hardly seems fair. Just try something creative, something that will interrupt the normal thought processes going on in a nervious first timer. Also try and think of what was buzzing around in your head the first time you got kissed woman!
