Wow, sorry if I offended anyone with my statement. God still loves you angry atheists. Me, to tell the truth i'm still working on it,but I'll get there.

I agree that "God loves everyone", but don't agree with your assumption that Christians aren't telling people this. I would guess you are interpreting telling someone the Truth about their sin as being unloving or hateful. Imagine going to a doctor and her not telling you about a deadly disease that you could be treated for out of fear she might be viewed as judgmental. It is the height of cruelty and hate not to tell people of their sin and their need for God. It's not always pretty but it is loving.

I tell people that on a fairly regular basis. In fact, I just told the atheist who thinks Christians don't believe in atheists because "God doesn't believe in them"
You're absolutely right...God loves EVERYONE - believers and non-believers. He is no respecter of persons, but His heart does ache for those who won't accept Him because He doesn't want ANYONE to perish. If somebody goes to Hell, it's not because God is mean - it's because He is just and righteous and follows through with ALL of His promises.

What bothers me about that sort of statement is the kind of 'love' that it appears to be.
An omnipotent being creates eternal torture and a single way to avoid it. Which is based solely on believing what certain people tell me and ignoring all others.
That's the sort of bizarre, twisted, narcisstic 'love' found primarily in abusive relationships.
You can say it all you want, but it doesn't make it any less warped.
