I think the Earth has a natural cycle of cooling and warming itself. However, I think that humans are speeding the warming process because of how industrialized we have become. There is scientific evidence supporting the overall rise in: global temperature, storms, glacier melting etc. But putting all the science and statistics aside I think that the technology that comes with trying to combat global warming, a reality or a myth, is great. Technology like electric cars, hydrogen cars, solar power, wind power, hybrids, energy efficient appliances, decreased trash consumption, increased recycling etc. will make CO2 emissions a thing of the past. This will result in a cleaner enviorment which is good for everyone as pollution is often linked to health problems. It will also make every country more independent so that we can provide for ourselves and not rely on anyone else. That is why regardless of wether global warming is real I feel we should take advantage of this new technology to better ourselves.

Well though Al Gore is a bit much, I'm still going to believe in the IPCC report, which was made by over 1000 scientists from all over the world, all smarter than I, and came to a consensus.

I'm not going to listen to some quack who lacks any credentials, and is just putting scientists down if they disagree with him.

I can do that too, but I'm not an idiot.

His making fun of people, like Al Gore, and David Suzuki is really sad. If he was a scientist, and presented just the facts, I might be slightly more inclined to believe him. But he bashes anyone who disagrees with him. He's a quack.

I can argue scientists are wrong and the earth is flat, then make fun of them and the people who spread the message, doesn't make me right.

What's that video got to do with anything? It's called GLOBAL warming for a reason - if it was just about Albany it would be called ALBANY warming. Global warming is about long term trends - not about comparing the weather in one year with the another year. By the way, the text and narrative in the video contradict each other - sure was a genius who put that together, obviously doesn't know anything about weather, climate, global warming or any related subject. How can anyone comment on something they know nothing about, much less profess to be able to disprove something. I could do exactly the same thing and compare say the amount of rain in London in 1822 with the amount of rain in 2005 and conclude the world is suffering from global drying just because one place in one year happened to be wetter (or warmer) than another year.

Please dispute global warming by all means, there's good reason to do so, but introducing playground propoganda to a serious debate does no good at all - it just makes the skeptics look truly ignorant and desparate. There's good scientific evidence that can be used to build a case against global warming - use it.

Global warming is not a hoax. The term has come to mean human caused warming and that is a hoax. Humans have generated only a small percentage of the CO2 in the atmosphere. Humans are better off than ever before and they worry more than ever before. It is a very odd phenomena. There are people like Algore who grew up super wealthy and I think maybe he feels a terrible guilt. To compensate (overcompensate) he gets on these weird bandwagons that have more to do with assuaging his guilt than with accomplishing anything. This may explain why so little science and so much emotion goes into it. Global warming is a political movement pushed by the guilt ridden and those that think they know far more than they actually do, it seem to me. They should be treated by psychologists, not taken seriously.

Global warming is cyclical and so is global cooling. Thirty years ago the "know it alls" were telling us to beware of global cooling and trying to frighten us by telling us we were entering another ice age. The earth's temperature is cyclical. The rise in temperture which is 7/10's of 1% in the last 100 years will cool down soon and Al will have to find another way to be in the public eye. He has always been full of it and that fact still continues. He's losing weight so I guess he's getting ready for the 2012 presidential campaign. All this terror he's espousing and his energy use is exhorbitant but he won't cut down. He just wants everyone else to do so. Sort of like Roseie O'Donnell who is against everyone having guns except for her bodyguards. They're all jerks.

I believe wholeheartedly every single word Al Gore has ever spoken, and would be willing to give my life for this courageous and noble man.

But seriously dude, not one single person I've ever met believes that anthropogenic climate change is real because Al Gore says so. So why don't you go read the IPCC report and stop being silly.

So Al Gore sucks because he's profiting from the new GHG credit trading FRAUD.

Global warming is not a hoax. Al Gore is not part of the equation. Selling his allowances makes him a crook, in my book, that doesn't make global warming go away, just because a few crooks are profiting from it.

Now it's going to be an even bigger problem.

I style of enroll in the final theory that we'd be arduous our planet quicker than we are able to helping the inhabitants bomb, particular. The mere certainty that maximum scientists seem to consider Gore's uncomplicated tenets shouldn't in spite of the undeniable fact that unduly confuse the lots. The Nobel Peace Prizes are particularly plenty a reward for undesirable men long previous precise- it particularly is uncomplicated information the final time that I checked.

Just because you don't agree with the way Al Gore lives his life does not mean that Global Warming is a hoax. He may be the person most easily associated with the cause, but to discount it as a hoax because of the actions of one man is very irresponsible. Are you willing to jeopardize your children's future because Sean Hannity tells you that Global Warming is a political issue? It is not a political issue, and I am not willing to gamble with my son's future. It is a responsibility of every human being to try to leave this place called Earth in the same condition, or better than, we found it.

Of course, if, as your name suggests, you are a "good ole boy" who looks fondly back to the Old South and its practices as something to look back fondly upon, you aren't at all interested in making the world a better place, and you probably don't know what most of the words I used mean.
