Well, if we look at the world from media's eyes, everything becomes quite hopeless. It projects only the evil, opportunist, greedy, angry, dirty side of human beings. While when i was in Pakistan their was a poor man in the Bus who payed for this guy who had no money to pay the fare. Then i came to Canada where this woman helped this injured guy get to the hospital without even recieving any thing at all for her bravery. Why cant these news be reported equally? Why cant they be our role models? Why do tend to generalize and classify people when we dont even know their circumstances? Dont you think Positive news should get as much Air time as the Negative news?

Yes... but I would still say that the damage of sin is the root problem, and that's what makes us narrow-minded.

Personally, I think those Human Interest stories are boring. I want the "news," not touchy-feely stories. Sure, it'd be nice if they showed less negative stories, but I don't want them to do that at the expense of reporting the news. My main beef with the media is that they focus on the wrong negative news most of the time. They cover stories like David Hasselhoff getting drunk rather than the war. Or make a huge deal about a politician letting one awkward word slip, rather than mentioning how good their policy plans may be.

well u r absoulotly right ,, and this is one of the bigest probleme ever. i guess that what makes it " HOT NEWS" u know they dont care about the +ve stuff only focasing on the
-ve things ... ,,, i dont know somtimes i get the feeling that most of the news channals are made by a huge chain of people that want to world to be in hell , so as to keep tthire channals work as u can't imagen ... So the only way is to get the bad things and -ve so that people keep on dislike each others... and keep the war going...and GO ON>>>>>>
for example when i was in arabic country they only get what only make people hate "certen people" ... u know what i mean ..
and like u said they dont get the good things...
and when i'm in forigner country ,,, they only showa what the araboc people do and the keep saying::::::
arabic people terrorists terrorists terrorists terrorists ..
untill it came a fact ... and it's not our problem i mean if i'm watching tv for like 2 h. and i can't see nothing but .. my people is dying and killed by another person ........ for sure i'll hate not only that person but the WWWWWWHOLE country of his.
OR they have like a mean workers that only bring us bad things:(

Media has the mission of making us feel afraid and hopeless. That way we are easier to control. Because who owns media? Corporate interests. What else do they own? Politicians. Corporate interests want to control the globe and make us all sources of revenue, nothing more.
