Yes because he created those that believe him and those that don't. He created everything and everything is under his rule and authority.

Yes, Jesus HAS the right to judge those that do not believe in him, but he chooses not too. He died for us, to protect us. He died so we can be forgiven for our sins. Without him dieing, we would have to sacrifice something like everyday to be forgiven. Everyone sins, atleast once a day. Whether they mean to or not. Not everyone believes in Jesus and God. Some are atheiest. Some just has different beliefs; and some do not even know who God and Jesus are, much less what they did and are doing. Some people have not heard the word of God and have no intelligence of anything about him. But when the end comes and we're standing infront of them at judgement day, he decides who goes to heaven and hell.

didnt Jesus say that he did not come to judge... but that the scriptures already judged those in the wrong.

"if anyone hears me and doesn't obey me, I am not his judge, for I have come to save the world and not to judge it." - john 12:47

he said,
Matthew 12:37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

follow the Pharisee and the Publican as they both go to pray.

Luke 18:9 And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others:
10 Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican.
11 The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.
12 I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.
13 And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.
14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

Yes. Mankind is a cration of Gods and we are under his authority whether we believe it or not.

The kid that walks into court for armed robbery is never goinf to get off by making the argument that he doesnt recognize the courts authority or believe it has the right to judge him.

Because at the end of the day there is only one truth, and you are judged by that.

John 3:18
He that exercises faith in him is not to be judged. He that does not exercise faith has been judged already, because he has not exercised faith in the name of the only-begotten Son of God.

John 5:30
I cannot do a single thing of my own initiative; just as I hear, I judge; and the judgment that I render is righteous, because I seek, not my own will, but the will of him that sent me.

duh....YES, He was there @ the creation of the universe he Died for your sin(He could have got out @ any time) and would have still done it even if you were they only one in all time to accept him. HE IS GOD, I don't have the right to judge people(but, sometimes still do ((not perfect just forgiven))I Know that as a follower of Christ I am a hypocrite, so?)nor do you. Christ has ultimate power to judge!
Here's the kicker TRUTH IS TRUTH WEATHER PEOPLE LIKE(BELIEVE)IT OR NOT. i.e. GRAVITY EXISTS you can't see it, touch, or taste it. but its still there.Likewise Jesus Christ is Lord That TRUTH will be revealed disbelieve at your own peril. "As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord"!

For Him, it's not a matter of having the "right".

He has the "authority", and that's what has so many people's feathers ruffled. People just don't like the idea of being accountable to someone whether they believe in His existence or not.

Sorry about their luck.

2007-05-17 04:09:51 · answer #7 · answered by Anonymous · 0 0

Yes He does.

"For the Father judges no one, but has given all judgment to the Son." (John 5:22)

He will judge all. Believers for what they did in His name, and unbelievers for rejecting Him.

2007-05-17 04:07:28 · answer #8 · answered by Anonymous · 1 0

Jesus is a higher power than us so it doesn't make any differences if He has the right or not. Jesus is still going to judge us, and makes no differences if we like it or not or if we think He doesn't have the right.

Rights do not just exist in and of themselves; they are given to you by someone. Presumably, the only person who could've given this right to Jesus would be God, and He tends to side with Jesus in these matters, it seems.
