They have peeled everything off the faith except for nice feel good slogans dealing with love.

You can do anything you want, just love the Trinity concept and all will be OK.

Apparently you have never spent much time reading the Bible or the books attributed to Paul. Can you please show me chapter and verse where Paul teaches that you can do anything you want? God is the author of the Bible and he taught the same truth throughout scripture. Salvation through Christ and this truth is that by faith we are changed to God's righteouness no longer under law because we are not sinners but in agreement with God.

Protestants are by definition a christian, non-roman catholic church. There are many many different protestant sects. Some of whom compromise doctrine, many of whom don't.

Ron Hubbard said years ago that if someone really wants to make money they should start a religion. The Church of Scientology kinda proves his point now huh?
