Wizzard-4) Bush can claim he is religious, and that may be so. But in my opinion his understanding of the nature of Jesus is limited. Jesus would have PRAYED for His enemies, and not destroyed them. And if Bush claimed Peace in the Middle East, I wouldn't give HIM the credit, it would go to God.
what? you would give credit to god if Bush said god told him to create peace?
You have just answered the question with exactly what I thought!

1) People do get better when we pray for them, there are many testimonies of people being healed from various diseases that have been Diagnosed as "Incurable"
that is nonsense and you know it!!!!! There are people who got better from these things with no prayer!!!!! It proves nothing!!! You only concentrate on the people who survive-you see what you want to see.You say 'god saved this person through prayer' but you never say we prayed for those other people and they died?? If prayer worked no one would die from disease??Think about it, PLEASE! IF you pray for 100 people, some will die therefore it doesn't work.

Lion-4) That is a lie, we do not claim that God told him (Bush) to invade Iraq.
I NEVER said you said that you said god told him! You are doing it again? Propaganda, you made up a question to answer!!! READ THE QUESTION. Christians told me that they didn;t believe god asked George Bush to invade Iraq. Fine. My question is quite clear but you cannot help twisting things to suit can you??? I am starting to wonder whether you know you are doing it..

I will try to answer your question as honestly as possible, even though I disagree with you completely:
1)Pray for people to get better despite knowing that praying has no influence on the outcome anyway and also why do you want to keep someone alive when heaven is so good?
Who are you to say that prayer makes no difference? I'm assuming that you have not tried it, so your testimony here really doesn't count.
As for why we might want to keep someone we love dearly with us for a bit longer, I'm sure you can answer that for yourself. However, sooner or later all die, we know this, too. I would rather know that my loved one is with God in heaven, than rotting in the earth. It's gonna be awfully tuff on you, my friend, when your Momma is worm food....
2)Only answer certain questions on this website when I ask them?Or sometimes 'make up' your own question then answer that?
Excuse me? I don't answer all questions on this website...I do have a life in the 3D world. I choose to answer questions that interest me. This one did.
3)Keep quoting the bible and disrespecting human progression for the last 2000 years?
How does quoting the Bible disrespect human progress? I would have thought that human progress is the proof that God gave us minds.
4)Claim that when god told George Bush to invade Iraq it wasn't god that told him when we all know if he created peace in the middle east and claimed god told him, you would accept that?
Hmmm...perhaps some Christians claim that. I have said that if Bush is a Christian, then I am the Virgin Mary...and Honey, my name ain't Mary.
Perhaps I shouldn't have said that, but I am not a great fan of war...especially a war being fought just to fatten already well-padded politician's wallets.
5)Constantly twist phrases from the bible to suit your own purposes-so much so, that literally every phrase now means 2 different things?
When I do quote from the Bible, I just give you the straight quote without any editing from me. I'm pretty sure God can speak for Himself.
I don't quote from the Bible often, actually, since I see littlle point in trying to feed meat to children who can barely digest milk.
6)Have you noticed common sense and logical people do not try and avoid questions and always answer them?
Again, if I were to answer every question on this board, I would never have time to do anything else, would I? Or did you think that you were the only person asking questions here?
7)Why is it that you cannot accept that the bible is most likely man written with no bearing on an unproven god?Even 1%
Of course the Bible was written by men. Men who were inspired by God. Just because you haven't found proof for God, doesn't mean that I have not. Maybe you are just looking in the wrong places. You will never find God in a test tube. Try looking in your own heart....
8)Do you REALLY believe in heaven and hell?!!
I believe in life and death. Eternal life, and eternal death.
I have chosen life.
I pray that you, also, will eventually choose life.
May God bless you.

1) There are many studies to prove that prayer works for healing. Christians pray, but ultimately want God's will to be done, and not their own.
2)I don't know who answers 'certain questions', there isn't an answer as to what types of questions each individual is attracted to answer. If someone asks a question in their answer, they may be trying to make YOU think.
3) The Bible has been proven to be historical fact and is what Christians who know the Bible quote their sources from. "Human progression" wouldn't be possible without intelligence. If you believe that God created humans, then they got their intelligence from Him.
4) Bush can claim he is religious, and that may be so. But in my opinion his understanding of the nature of Jesus is limited. Jesus would have PRAYED for His enemies, and not destroyed them. And if Bush claimed Peace in the Middle East, I wouldn't give HIM the credit, it would go to God.
5)All of my quotes come directly from the Bible when I quote them. I am not one who twists them in my answers.
6) Common sense and Logic are good to have. I have studied Logic and Philosophy in College and did very well in both subjects. I have common sense from the type of life and world that I grew up in. But too many people do not have it these days. I answer questions based on the fact that I have experience in them or with the subject in some way.
7) Because this is a free country last time I checked, I am allowed to believe in any religion I choose, just as you are allowed to not believe in one. The Bible has been proven to be historical fact, and Jesus was really a person who died on the Cross and walked the earth, preaching, healing, and converting people to His religion.
8)Yes, I really believe in heaven and hell. It isn't easy to follow Jesus as a role model, because I realize that I am only human and not perfect, as Jesus was.
But I would rather be a person who is known for truthfulness and integrity, than one who stands by my own moral code, which could be questionable to others.

1) People do get better when we pray for them, there are many testimonies of people being healed from various diseases that have been Diagnosed as "Incurable"
We are to live as long as we can to do God's work on this planet and to give testamony of God's power through the healing of others.
20 why do you ask only certain question on this web site and answer them and reject all answers that are given in explanation, seems like you have made up your mind already and disregard anything else that does not give you the answer you seek.
3) Quoting the Bible is not in anyway disrespecting human progression being made during the last 2000 years, their is no validity in that.
4) That is a lie, we do not claim that God told him (Bush) to invade Iraq.
5) Why do people like You Constantly twist phrases from the Bible to suit your own purposes-so much so, that is means only what YOU want it to mean in such a way that goes along with want you want it to mean that makes you feel comfortable and reject any other explanation>
6) have YOU noticed that YOUR common sense and your version of what you call Logical people are from human thinking and cannot understand the Bible nor do they have the ability to: 1Cr 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know [them], because they are spiritually discerned. and Human thinking?
Col 2:8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
8) Why can't you accept that the Bible if it were written by mere men and is just another book that it would not have survived and have as much influence in this world as it does now. 2Ti 3:16 All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
9) Yes, I really believe in a heaven and a Hell.
Why cannot you? do you really believe that this world and Universe "Just Happened" from a Big Bang ? from Nothinness, that is Ludicrous

So you want us to write a book for you here.
1. I do not know that the outcome is not influenced by prayer and it makes people (Christians and even some not) happy to know people are praying for them. I want to keep someone alive because I love them. HAVE YOU NO ONE YOU LOVE?
2. I have no clue what you are asking.
3. Quoting the Bible is not disrespecting anything, including progression, at any rate, I try to keep my quoting to a minimum. Regardless, if I want to do so, it is my right to do it.
4. I dislike George Bush immensely and do not approve of this war. God did not tell him to go to war...more like his daddy George Sr. and his Vice President Dick Cheney. I would question any president that claimed "GOD" told him to go to war. So no, I would NOT accept that.
5. I have no need to twist Bible phrases as I am not a Bible literalist, do not think the Bible is without error and am quite good at making my point without doing so.
6. I have noticed that almost no one answers questions here...they just attack the questioner or what the questioner believes...no matter what that is.
7. Already answered in number 5 question.
8. I really believe in heaven yes...and in God. I believe there may be a hell, but not as it is described in the Bible or by other Christians.
You have made the critical error of assuming things that you have no basis in fact to assume. Why should any of this matter to you anyway?

2. I'm answering you question!!
3. Today schools teach we come from the monkey...yeah that's progress!!
4. there is still no peace in the middle east...
5. there is no twisting of words...some people simply refuse to accept the truth found in the word of God. Such is your case.
6. I don't see you answering all of the question on R&S!!
7. It was written by men, BUT inspired by the Holy Spirit 100%
8. yes, there is a heaven and a hell...just like there are good and bad people.

1. Praying has proven to have positive affects. Plus, whats wrong with people doing something that causes no harm and makes them feel better?
2. I've never answered your questions before. I can't speak for anyone else.
3. I don't. I like evolution, its a good thing.
4. I don't claim that, that's stupid.
5. The bible is meant to be interpreted, so is every other religious text.
6. Yes.
7. I can accept that. Do you know what faith is? It is the acceptance of something that cannot be proven. You are asking people to quit having faith. This is not something you should ask only of "Christians", if you are going to ask this question, ask it of all faiths.
8. Yes.
Don't group people together based on Faith, Race, Sex, or any other factors. Its a bad practice. Go to any church (of any denomination) any day of the week and you will meet people who are nothing like each other.

Ironically, everything you said is a matter of opinion. Personally I've experienced quite the opposite of what you've stated.
1) You're wrong 2) You're wrong
3) The bible is the word of God (to those who follow Him)
4) I don't know what God told GB to do . . no one does.
5) I don't 6) You opinion
7) We accept it as the word of God. Believe what you like
8) Yes
I am 2 things. A Christ follower and an American. I believe in God the Father/Son/Holy Spirit. I believe these 3 are one. I believe this is the only truth. I support your freedom to not believe it.
