Would it work just to dress some guy as a Chimney Sweep and give her the kiss? Perhaps it would not be lucky? I have a great chimney sweep (he's never kissed me) who recently attended the international chimney sweep convention in Italy. He never mentioned kissing. . . .

Could you explain this tradition? I have never heard of this. Does this have to do with the song from "Mary Poppins" which states "a sweep is as lucky as lucky can be"?

You could always ask someone in the family who's close to her to dress up as a sweep my father-in-law done that for my sister-in-law when she got married it makes it that bit more special and she probably wont expect it.
