People who follow the Catholic faith are God loving individuals just like the rest of us. Their desire is to love the Lord with all their heart and to do their will.
Salvation is a serious matter and we need to "stop judging others, so you will not be judged" Matthew7:1
Unfortunately,"not all people who sound religious are really godly. They may refer to me as 'Lord', but they still won't enter the kingdom of heaven." Matthew 7:21 The only reason why I mention this verse is because members of the Catholic church are members of a church which practices a false doctrine. Once you seek the truth by reading the Holy Scriptures, will you do what is right? Wil you search for the true religion that "obeys God's commandments and remain faithful to Jesus" Revelation14:12 Here are 2 beliefs which are not biblical:
1- immortality of the soul-going straight to heaven when you die, pulgatory, or hell. This originated from Pagan rituals during the reign of the Babylonians- It is SPIRITISN. Gen2:7-"You will surely die" Satan, the great deceiver, told Adam & Eve "you will surely not die" This was the first sermon preached about immortality of the soul. Job4:17 "Human beings are mortal" Only God is immortal. When Jesus was risen on Sunday morning,Job 20:17"Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet returned to the Father" He was dead/sleep until He resurrected. He did not go to heaven, just like Lazarus was not in heaven before Jesus resurrected him.
2-Sunday worship, instead of the Biblical Sabbath- During 4th Century, Constantine's Reign. The Babylonians worshiped the god of the 'sun'(a pagan god) When Constantine became a Christian,he imposed the first Sunday law :AD321. His legislation was then incorporated within the church and papal propouncements. They had difficulty preaching christianity to the pagans, and this is the way they found a common ground, by mixing the two gods.In the book: 'The Catholic Record': "Sunday is our mark of authorithy, the church is above the Bible." Really?
3-A priest forgiving your sins- did a priest shed his blood for you? John3:16 "For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committeth all judgment unto the Son" John5:22. We must have our sins forgiven and our lives made pure by the blood of Jesus. Only Jesus can forgive our sins.
If we know all these truths and we still refuse to do whats right:
"...because they refuse to believe the truth that would save them. God will send great deception upon them, and they will believe all these lies. Then they will be condemned for not believing the truth"2Thessalonians2:11-12

aren't catholics Christians?? All these small variations of Christianity make such a big fuss over tinny differences, are they so bored they need to create conflict over meaningless insignificant details? why cant everyone just believe what they want without judging others beliefs?? Especially with Abrahamic religions (Judaism, Christianity, Islam), they all stem from the same root and have so much in common, I wish people could focus on the commonalities sometimes.

It is hard to respond to this without sounding judgmental toward your statement. But let me say it in these terms: Some Catholics are Christians and some who call themselves Christians are going to Hell. God, being perfect, is the only judge worthy of deciding who is right and who is wrong.
Evangelical Christians, who believe in Grace by Faith in Jesus Christ, believe that there is only one requirement for salvation (your eternal fire insurance policy) and that is acceptance that:
Jesus Christ was God in human form and that he died on Calvary's cross for your sins.
Acceptance of these two items provides salvation. It is an evangelical Christian's belief that to require ANYTHING else in the form of works (e.g., Baptism, Confession) as an Amendment to the statement of faith is like saying , "What Christ endured on Calvary was not enough. The sacrifice was not complete. There is something that we can do that He (as God) could not accomplish on his own on Calvary."
BTW, I hope that "clears" up your question. Anyone who labels people as either Christians or Catholics and then attempts to assert statements to be true of either group...that is the person being judgmental.
When will people realize that humans are not perfect and that the institutions we build and run are not perfect? The Church God wants is united...not divided. The only problem is we don't let Him be Lord of His own body!
God bless you,

Please remember that anyone that claims to be a christian is not perfect. Because we are human, we have flaws and make mistakes. Judging is a sin and because we are not perfect that happens sometimes. It's true that it is not our job to judge, but in this world it's done all the time by everyone so don't take it personally just continue to believe and live the life "God" wants you to live.

I don't judge them I just don't agree with the way they believe on some things or worship. I could not call them non-believers because they believe in something. I am sure Heaven don't have different sections for different religions, as long as you believe on the son of God and repent of your sins I will see you there. God will judge us all of our wrong doing and yes even us Christians because we are of the flesh and do sin daily.

I don't call Catholics non-believers. There is only one God and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth. I think that can be done regardless of what building you go to on Sundays. God looks on the heart, and He is the only judge that matters.

First - don't stereotype all Christians.
Did you know that Christians are not perfect? Christians do judge, they sin, they do things that are not pleasing to God. But guess what - we can ask forigveness. Being a Christian does not mean being perfect.
To Christians, a "believer" is someone that knows Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

i'm Southern Baptist, yet discover plenty (and that i mean plenty) that I trust in Catholic coaching. the only issues that i do no longer comprehend completely is the opt to trust the Catholic church homes teachings concerning Mary as Mediatrix, praying to Saints, and a few different concerns that i'm investigating heavily. i do no longer evaluate myself a Protestant, yet a Christian, saved via an analogous Lord Jesus Christ as my Catholic brethren.
