You do not fully understand the Doctrine you quote.
Yes, Catholic Doctrine teaches that there cannot be Salvation outside the Catholic Church. Church Doctrine also dictates Baptism is essential to Salvation. This is not a contradiction.
A Christian who is Baptised "in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit" in a Catholic Church is a direct member of the Catholic Church. A person who receives a valid Baptism from another denomination, that person is a member of the Catholic Church as well, albeit indirectly.
So, you see, The Catholic Doctrine in question is not contradictory. It's just that some fail to discern what does and what does not constitute a Catholic belief and/or practice.

,From one Catholic to another you know that it is not our way to do this and yet we are attacked daily for being the One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church.
The thing that amazes me about those of the Protestant faiths is this, Martin Luther was a Dominican Priest who was well known for his argumentative and bossy nature, he impregnated his lover(a nun) whom he later married and had treatment for sexual diseases,he finally died close to insanity,
and this is supposed to be the man that Christ chose to start another version of His church! do you see the contrast?
The church we call Catholic was founded on the Apostle Peter who was humble and obedient, then 1500yrs later Christ is supposed to have re-founded His church on such as Luther!!
Now this begs the question, was Christ joking or telling lies to St.Peter, especially when He said that even the gates of Hell would not prevail against His church, of course not how could this be possible, and yet this is the outcome that is being presented by the rebellious face of Protestantism, most especially the Fundamentalists and none of them have the ability to see this.

I doubt any Catholics will tell you that there is "no salvation outside the Catholic Church", as pretty much any Catholic knows that the church accepts baptism of any other denomination of Christianity (as you pointed out).

I agree, no one that I know has stated such. And you forgot the two life lines trailing the Church as regards to Baptism.. There is Baptism by desire and Baptism by blood.

I do not see what so many of you mean on this.
Why char the believers and call them disbelievers.
This is thier faith
This is thier religion
let them follow it
why waste your life nit picking people who you do not believe follow the faith as you like
And btw
there should be no "RCC" position
if they take Gods postion then they are never wrong
