Nah, I used to have one and they've got sweet personailities. My litle brother has three, and they're great dogs. I'd ask the owner if it was okay to pet the rottie, though :)

no not a rottie . dont consider rotties to be dangerous just pitts now if you had a pitt i would cross the street . I lost my finger to a pitt and will never trust another one . I had a rottie when I was a kid and I loved her to death and she was the sweetest thing . I dont know why ppl consider rotties to be dangerous I would be far more worried about a pitt. good luck to you .

I would either give the dog and walker a wide berth or stop and pet it -- depending upon the demeanor of the person walking the dog. In other words, I think that the person walking the dog is the one who would influence my actions. If the person was tense or looked like they weren't 100% in control, I'd move out of the way.
Of course...if I'm walking down the street, I'm with MY doggie!

For some reason dogs have always made me nervous and now I own 2 chihuahuas, so yeah I would probably be a little anxious, but I wouldn't walk away.

I wouldn 't cross the street but I would make sure I don't walk past the dog. I would do that with any dog that I didn't know. You will never know what a dog will do and until they do it ...you don't need to give him any ideas lol.

if i saw that i wouldn't do either, because i mean you wouldn't be bringing it out into public if it were dangerous. so what would anybody want to do that for.

Depends on the dog's body language. If he's ignoring me, or wiggly, then nope. If he's alert, stiff-legged, watching me...I'd probably think about it.
