Thats the whole beauty of sacrifice, God didnt have to do any of that, but He did, for you. He is God of the whole Universe but made Himself vulnerable for you and me, gave up Godly powers so we could have eternatl life, died so that we could live. Jesus risked it all, he could have sinned, he could have died before His time, there were so many things that couldve gone wrong, but they didnt and the sacrifice was perfect for us :). He had to trust Mary and Joseph with His life as a child, because He had to experience what all humans do, He had to be human, so the Devil could no longer say that its impossible to live the life that God wants us to, and so He could take our human place. It was all for you, thank Him for it, cus thats real sacrifice. We hardly do anything for Him, but question Him and doubt His existence, imagine how much that hurts.

Read Matthew 2:1-15. God instructed Joseph by way of an angel to flee to Egypt until Herod passed, this was to protect the baby from harm and that the prophecy could be fulfilled that he would call his son out of Egypt.
And in the book of John in 2 different places it doesn't say that he fled it says that the ones who wanted to stone him could not grab hold of him to do so. That is just another display of his greatness. There were many more times that he spoke openly and no one tried to stone him.
And Jesus was very much God in the flesh (Revelation 22:16). Were he not God, he would not have angels in his power to send.

Jesus wasnt god. Jesus was gods son. He is an entirely seperate person and spirit. Plus his being crucified was part of the plan he was supposed to be crucified so that he could take on thesins of the world and we could be cleanesed of sin through repentance. He had to hide from being stoned because then it would have been pointless for him to come to earth. The crucifiction of him for imagined wrongdoings was the key.

Jesus got here to earth fairly to evangelise approximately God's Kingdom, which wil vindicate his Father's call and completely remedy all human ills. Had he died at an early age, of what purpose could that have been. Jesus had a paintings to do, he advance into born with the burden of the international on his shoulders. via fact he imitated his Heavenly Father so nicely, Jesus advance into the proper guy that ever lived. by way of his life and each subject mutually as right here in the international, he did in basic terms as his Father, the Almighty God could have completed. Jesus had to die, so as that our sins could be forgiven. a proper guy lost life for us, so a proper guy had to regain it.. John 17:3 If we repent of our sins, and stick to Jesus Christ's occasion we can stay perpetually. this would not have bee available if Herod had killed Jesus as a toddler. the way Jesus could die advance into prophesied nicely in basic terms before his human life.

Good question!
Maybe lots of people have same or similar questions which then end up with a conclusion that apparently Jesus is not God at all. Does not mean that they become atheist either, they just simply dont believe that Jesus is God.

No, it isn't obvious that God would be afraid of dying. Do you look forward to suffering a painful event? Jesus was human - God's Son - and his life was lived as it was prophesied - thus necessitating the humans that were in his life.

There is an appointed time for everything in the bible, Jesus fulfilled many prophecies, so if He had died another way, He wouldn't have.
