Learn some French, if you don't know any already, it'll give you a headstart. Practise sleep deprivation (there'll be plenty of that), navigation, endurance - make sure you're in A1 condition physically. Warm up your singing voice, the French sing on the march (not just jodys like the US, but proper singing). Above all, keep your neck wound in, toe the line, and try to enjoy it!

from what i hear its all about endurance and running, be light, fit (again more about endurance), and mentally tough.
