you have two options, nurse anesthetist, or MD. To start you need to go to nursing school, or medical school. If you go through nursing, once you have a nursing degree, you need to further your education, which depending on where you work can be done through work, towards a nurse anesthetist degree.

In college, something like premed or biology, to prepare you for medical school. You'll need 4 years of college, 4 of med school, then internship, residency and specialization training.
