I don't think they are mutually exclusive.

If there was an 'all powerful' creator - then why couldn't it have created evolving creatures?

Think about it.

Creation starts with a C, and evolution starts with an E.

Creation and evolution are two completely separate things. It is not an either/or choice. Evolution describes how species adapt to their environment and change over time. Evolution makes no comment on how life began.

Those promoting the theory of evolution attribute all there is to the random effects of natural events.

Christians attribute everything to the intelligent design by God.

See Creation for a discussion about the age of the universe and each creative day, etc.

Evolution is the process whereby all living things progressed from microscopic forms at the beginning of the earth yo what we have now. Of course evolution does not stop with what we have now. We can only guess with is to come.
Creation means making something from nothing. Hukus-pokus.

Creation says "god did it" with no explanation and no proof but expects you to take it on the word of a 2000 year old book written by sheepherders who thought the earth was flat. Evolution says "things change over time" and then gives proof how it happened found by millions of brilliant scientists around the world and through many years.

Most obvious difference would be that evolution is science and evidence based and creationism is merely a fictional story in a book with no supportive evidence.

Creation is how things began or begin. Evolution is about how things change over time.

Creation- is every religion's folklore surrounding the birth of the earth and it's occurrences namely humans in most cases

evolution- is the scientific believe that the earth(or humans) slowly came about through a series of minute changes over millions and millions possibly billions of years

i personally believe that the creator is the evolver and vice versa.... we are all part of the creation and we can all evolve how we choose.....or how energy is dictated....

basically the earth created us and the earth will destroy us.......... the earth is the creator
